That means combining users including post counts and so on.

I dont see why it wouldnt be, except you would have the trouble of user ID's etc

What possible use would this be good for?

Why would you want to merge a user's account with another user's account?

could be usefull when a member forgot his password and he registers a new account to post with to later merge the two accounts into 1.

don't see this integrated in the core product though, you probably will have to depend on someone making a mod for you.

This would require a good bit of complex work and would be best done as a seperate script.
