Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt Monday at 02:04 PM
Rock Steady Posted May 4, 2006 Posted May 4, 2006 Well this is my list of suggestions, based on my usage of IPBSafari support for the RTE I don't really see why it isn't compatible with Safari, which seems to work with any firefox compatable page i've seen, and if it was, it would be much appreciated by the (few) safari users such as myself.Dynamically collapsing/expanding categories Meaning that the categories would collapse/expand with a slide effect, similar to the one featured in the ACP for changing template bitsMake it so that selecting multiple template bits is easier Possibly have a "Select All" button, or make it so that you could drag across the rows rather than selecting induvidual onesAdd more template bits for My Assistant Either i haven't found them, or they're not there. I think that there are a few missing bits for it, such as editing the header and footer of itAjax organisation of categories/forums/subforums in ACP with drag and drop This would definately be a cool feature which would make the organisation of forums far easier. Maybe this would be carried out in a similar way to how google personalised home works....more coming soon!Obviously these are all minor things that i believe could be done with relative ease. I will be happy if any of these get put into 2.2, as they would further improve an already great piece of software.
Dlf Posted May 4, 2006 Posted May 4, 2006 I think it's safari's "fault" for not suppoting the javascript/ajax (if it use it) of the RTE. IE, FIREFOX, and the few others that do "support" it, can use it.
Quillz Posted May 5, 2006 Posted May 5, 2006 Safari and Opera need to update their JavaScript engines before RTE can work with them.
