was there any at all templates changes for all 3 things released

None for Gallery, this release fixes a couple of annoying bugs, like the eCard email issue and some things with the bulk uploader.

Just a note that when I login to download ICB 1.2.3 all I have available is ICB.1.2.2 (You have to click "other versions" to get the latest version) .. that doesn't seem right??

Also the link for ICB in the instructions is wrong.. (references to "/customers/" when it should be "/customer/" for the download links .. :P

There is a 2.15 -> 2.16 upgrade pack, its very small and the upgrade took me 2 mins.

oasiz, i have to mind the various mods i have. i just cannot blindly run an pgrade pack.

How important are the templates rebuild?

When I updated my forum, it wouldn't get past this section.....however, it says that my forum is updated. Unfortunately, it won't let me go back.

You can't expect IPS not to release security updates....
Hopefully when IPB 2.2 comes around you will see less and less of these kinds of updates because IPB 2.2 is slated to get a full third party security audit (hopefully catching errors like these).

Also I'm thinking that IPB 2.2 is further away than you think :P

Exactly - we aren't releasing any more maintenance releases, however we would not want to leave our customers open to any known security exploits, so we are releasing 2.1.6 which covers all current known issues. The files ONLY fix the security exploits reported, and add the new version indicator system to the ACP.

Unfortunately, modified or not, this is one of those upgrades I'd highly recommend everyone install. :)

I just want to say thanks for providing such a great product, and also providing these security updates even though 2.2 is just around the bend.
