we all know general arranging of IPB categories & forums as the below picture



its the same arranging from beggaining of IPB :whistle:

but why we dosnt do some changes which make IPB more better & flixable ?

what your opinion in the below picture :whistle:



this is the new idea for IPB arranging id did it by photoshop ;) .... lets make it arranged vertically or horizontally

let us to make a background picture for every forum .... or special color ....

easy to cusomise ... profissional in view ... all this will make IPB the best internet community program in all over the world ..... :wub:


tell me your opinion & please let the admin told us about the valiability of doing it .... :blush:

As this is a feature suggestion for IPB and not Gallery, you needed to post this in the IPB Feature suggestions forum. I am sure it will be moved to the correct forum for you though :)

I like it! Looks nice, though i like the current one more. Make it a check-box feature so you can choose which one you like. This would be great to use if you have your forum in iframes. Good job man! +1 =)

i dont think it will make a problem in screen width because sctions will custmise there width with screen

also u can chose numbers of categories per row .. 2 , 3 or more ;)

& the ability of chosing different background color or picture it will be fantastic :wub:

but i want to sea replay from any one from the leader team :unsure:

I think the horizontal thing could be useful in some cases. If I used it, I would enable it for some forums, and not for others, so how about when creating a category, there is a drop down box saying "standard view" / "tile view"

However, the per forum background is an excellent idea, and I would definatly like to see this.

Recently, http://ubuntuforums.org/index.php has changed their forum layout, and it is something as mentioned above.

I think it is quite cool, maybe another new options for ipb.
btw, ubuntuforum is using vbulletin and they have change the code for the new layout.

I think it is certainly interesting, but to be honest I personally would rather keep it the way it is by default. You can always modify the layout to that style if you wish, but for me, I'd rather continue it the way IPB has always been. Vertical. :)

Again, i like his idea, but i don't think it's the right person behind the idea itself. Let's not judge by that. The idea is great in it self. Have it optional.

Easy to modify IPB so it does that.
