Logan Posted February 25, 2006 Posted February 25, 2006 The rating system is missing quite a few features. It should show the # of votes a topic has, and it should show what you rated it. Even if you have permission to change your rating, it should still show the rating that you currently have rated it. This information should be all in the topic somewhere beside the rating options.
Logan Posted April 4, 2006 Posted April 4, 2006 In addition to this, the rating dropdown should also be available from the bottom of the page not just the top. Maybe do the same with the options. Also, instead of having the current method to rate it where you use selects, have it like Neowin (a rollover, and you roll your mouse over which rating you'd like to give).

My #1 improvement, and I've love to mod this if I get the time, is to give users a place in My Controls to review (and change) all the votes. Sorta like what IMDb does, allowing you to see on one page how you've rated everything and to make changes.
Logan Posted April 6, 2006 Posted April 6, 2006 You can already change your rating in topic view if you have permission to change, I don't think it should be in the UCP at all, it should be all in the topic, the # of votes, what you voted it, etc...
