Brendon Koz Posted February 23, 2006 Share Posted February 23, 2006 Many blogging sites are implementing this tool (GeSHi) to help people paste code snippets (language independant) with color coding. Why not extend it to be used for forums as well? This forum software already has a blogging add-on, and implementations that I've seen for blogging software use this like BBCode, it shouldn't be too hard of an implementation. I don't know if this would mess up any internals to the core system if it were integrated, but I don't see why/how it would (obviously I wouldn't, but you would!).
