What I would hope to see is to enable reporting for private messages in the event of people abusing and harassing other users. Rather than just forwarding and quoting, which can of course be forged, a simple method to report the PM to the admins in much the same way as a post can be reported.

agreed, currently a member has to forward the PM to a mod, a report feature would be nice. Also logging the IP used to send the PM should be implemented, just as it is done for posts.
