Fast Reply indication in "users browsing forum"

Wouldn't it be nice to send an AJAX request to the server when person starts typing text in Fast Reply box, so that people can see that he is replying. Just like when user clicks "add reply" and everybody sees that.

Also, may be good to send a "keep-alive" AJAX request to the server if the person is typing a long reply and this is taking more than cutoff for displaying user online.

The point of fast reply is so that you won't even notice it, it's "fast", you type a couple of words then you're outta there.

I like the second keep-alive suggestion though :thumbsup:

good point with fast reply, but what happens at least on my forums is that people are using it not only for fast replies ;) that's why I've thought it would be a nice option :)
