Please Delete
I had the same with one memmer threatening legal action, I just told him to read my legal statement. It says you must agree to it to view the site (main page). I also changed the registration details to read like this and it is in a legal link in the global member bar.MBCanada.com is a privately owned website which is intended solely for use as a public forum. //Nathan
This isn't a feature suggestion... but it is possible to delete every post by a member. I'm not sure what that will do to your board, but it's an included feature in 2.1.x. I'm not sure on the specifics, but look that member up via your AdminCP - it should be one of the options presented to you. You first remove the member's posting permissions, then remove all their posts, then delete the account. Voila, member gone. Problems I forsee... topics they started... the obvious solutions are delete the entire topic (not necessarily good) or make the first reply the original post (very sloppy); and when people quote the member's posts... obviously the quotes will be intact, the snapback links broken. Coastie
I delete members, but not their posts, as it can throw topics off course. Our TOS also states that while the person is responsible for the content, all posts become the property of the domain.
TCWT
I think it's a good idea to add that to the TOS/Disclaimer. Thanks, nicely worded :)

Axel Wers
I think it's a good idea to add that to the TOS/Disclaimer. Yes, I'll do it too.
Louis M.
I also added it to my TOS: "All accounts and postings belong to XXXX. We will terminate your account upon request and proper validation, however we may choose to not remove your posts, comments, pictures, blogs, or anything else that your account has posted to the site. This decision will be made by the administration team." Only had one incident that involved lawyers and it wasn't for long after the TOS was viewed on archive.org (he claimed we changed it after his request).
