Of course there's still features that could improve IPB. It's just that right now I think it's more important to start re-designing My Controls before adding more features into it. They way things are now is just too much for any average user, and this is before you've even started adding the gallery and/or the blog. You know, defauly in simple view for novice users, and with the option to go advanced with a horde of features for those of us who just can't get enough features.... It's on my list of things to reskin on my site. since my controls is part of the userCP, I guess I can add to that. How about canned replies added to the mod PM page. That would be very useful, as mods send the same thing over and over... fix that, change that, we did that, we did that for you, etc..... Currently they can use the "my note pad" feature, but that requires 2 windows to be open, and a lot of copy/paste Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
bfarber Posted November 22, 2005 Share Posted November 22, 2005 This suggestion was actually already discussed. It is on the white boards fro 3.0 (update the interface, easy/advanced style, etc.). One thing that is commonly suggested is that right after a default installation, a lot of the board feels overwhelming to beginning users, when it really doesn't need to be. :) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
