Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications Matt November 11, 2024Nov 11
Posted November 19, 200519 yr Alright. My first one... There should be an easier way to upload the backuped files. Like uploading it in our Admin CP instead of using "cpanel". It will be a whole lot easier for us. :) And.... It would be preety cool if we can upgrade our forums WITHOUT OUR MODS AND POSTS RESETTING. A lot of the people here probably are getting tired of reinstalling their mods and re-uploading their backups. But it would help a lot and make IPB easier. Any of those ideas would be aite and make IPB better.

You can use the upgrade tool - this doesn't require you to reupload anything other than the board files. Your posts etc are all left intact. If your not confident with doing this yourself, submit a support ticket and an IPS tech can do it for you.
