Forum Filters on "View New Posts"

One feature I'd like to see is a setting on each sub-forum to indicate whether postsb in that forum should be included in the list when a member choose to "View New Posts". That way, we can have a Trash Can visible to all members if they want to go look. Still, the trash-can posts will not apprea in the "View New Posts".
