When i move a topic to another subforum I used to active the 'moved' mark in the first forum so that people could know that I have moved it and not deleted. The problem is that this mark or redirection is there for life and I think that it is very ugly to have those redirectiong there for life.

My suggestion is that I would like to have an option in the forum settings so that I could select how many time I would like to have those 'marks' and then deleted them. I think it is a very good suggestion ;)

Forum Options -> Prune / Mass Move


In that form there is an option called "Matches the topic state"; in that menu select select "Move linked Topics only".

Yes Nimdock, I Know, but I want that the first days the mark of moved was for tellinf to the users ihave moved it. And passed that time it was removed automatically

This would be a neat tool. I, too, have been using the "Moved:" bit a lot lately but I hate how (a.) it shows up in both forums as an unread post at first and (b.) it's really being used right now to remind people where to put certain topics. An automatic expiration of this link would be fantastic!
