i have an other suggession.

Why not adding a "switch link" in the reply page (exemple: http://forums.invisionpower.com/index.php?...=new_post&f=224 )

That link allow us to change fastly from the "simpl editor" to the "Rich editor" (and from the rich to the simple also).

That can not oblige us to go to My control etc..Also sometimes we want the rich editor and sometimes the simple so we will be not obliged to go each time to My control..

What do you think ?

I had made that exact same request a while back.
I even considered editing the skin and adding a link to that part of the UCP

I like this idea :)

How about something like this ... there is a button to switch between the RTE and standard editor. When you submit the post it will ask you if you would like to make the change permanent. This way if the person just wanted to RTE to see something or what-not they can use it for that post and it won't change their settings.
