This would make a nice little component. But please as a component rather than a modification or default feature. Its not somthing everyone would want, but most boards will find it a nice additional extra. Perhaps it could automatically append your location field when you place a point on the membermap?

It has some problems with IE... like Zoom takes you out of the map and Larger/Smaller just sits there.
