Reason for ban filters

It would be nice if there was a place where you can write the reason for ban filters, so you know for what member/case each of them was set and when it may be removed maybe.

I seem to remember there is a mod for this sort of thing at invisionize. It can also optionally tell the member why they are banned, if I'm thinking of the correct mod.

Well, the problem with mods is that they need re-installing or repairing every time I upgrade the board. ;)

So, this is not too urgent feature I would want to install a mod for it, but, I think, simple and basic (if you want a bit more management of the banned filters than simply adding them) enough to be included in the IPB installation itself.

There is a MOD for IPB 2.0.4 for the purpose. Check out the MODs database in Invisionize. The MOD is being upgraded for IPB 2.1.2 shortly. :)

If there's a plugin or mod for that at invisionize, I haven't found it. I searched for spam and ban, separately.

wouldn't an admin forum section be appropriate to leave a banned reason for others?
I mean it, is a msg board right!

and you would PM/Email the banned person to let them know also
