I know it's possible to mark a forum as read.
But I think there should be an option to make only topics read, and also unread... same for the forum itself.

Yeah I think so too, because sometimes I'll miss new posts and they never pop up in "View New Posts"

or you'd like to reread something... so it would be quite handy

My problem (and the problem of my forum users) is that that threads you have read are repeatedly being flagged as unread, without there being any new posts.

Is there a logic to this that I'm missing? It makes an otherwise pleasurable user experience somewhat jarring, as you end up re-reading the same topics a number of times and becoming frustrated.

Anyone else had this issue?
