Posted September 29, 200519 yr Hi at the moment one can only see subforums - but not subsub forums on the BOARD INDEX. I think it would be wvery easy to set a drop down menu in the forum description with ALL subforums... or place the drop down menu which shows all forums on the BOARD INDEX as well.
September 29, 200519 yr Hi at the moment one can only see subforums - but not subsub forums on the BOARD INDEX. I think it would be wvery easy to set a drop down menu in the forum description with ALL subforums... or place the drop down menu which shows all forums on the BOARD INDEX as well. All forums show within a forum? That was removed (I think in a Beta or RC [not 2.1.x]) becease think of the HUGE boards that have like a forum called (lets say) UNITED STATES within that all of the states of America, within that the cities of the states. If all the forums showed you'd have more then 50 links beneath the forum description.
September 29, 200519 yr So you make it an option so the small boards can use it? Like say Canada - Provinces ;) Not that I would, but still.
September 30, 200519 yr not if you place it as a drop down menu... then it qould be fine... ;) of course dont list all the forums in the description ;)
October 3, 200519 yr i think how they have it now is good but they need to expand on it. For example, right now, it shows the sub forums listed out and separated by commas. I think for each level, they have a list under each sub forum, depending on whether or not there IS a sub-subforum. so, what i mean by this is: USA subforums Alabama DROP DOWN { - restaurants - Malls} Alaska DROP DOWN { - Igloos - Fishing posts} etc. etc.
October 3, 200519 yr I think it would get quite cluttered in my opinion. Sub-sub-forums themselves arent exactly appealing to most. >_<
