Their is an announcement feature that I really love about punbb. You can turn on/off an announcement box like turning your board online/offline. Here is a thing that I use from invisionfree.com that would be a rough draft of what im talking about.

Optional: change the text in green (a number 1-100) to change the width of the announcement box.

I would like it. I used to use invisionfree but not anymore. It is something I miss. IPB should have it.

THis feature is skin based, and I can give you a tutorial on how to adapt your skin if you want.

ok but I want a on and off switch to it so i dont have to edit code and stuff all the time.
