wimpie Posted July 15, 2005 Posted July 15, 2005 i thought maybe a good option would be a setting for mods/admins when they hoover above a membername they can see the original name of the member if he changed it?
Wolfie Posted July 15, 2005 Posted July 15, 2005 +1 on this. Hover the name (or the avatar), see log-in name, original display name (if different from log-in and different from current), then up to the last 3 changes with dates/times of the changes, in a small "display box"
Quillz Posted July 15, 2005 Posted July 15, 2005 It's already possible for staff members to see a member's original user name, along with his or her display name history. It's just all in the ACP, and not via ToolTips. Creating a ToolTip to do what you want probably isn't hard, though. I'd ask at Invisionize once the staff over there has a had a chance to play with Beta 3.
MikeChristopher Posted July 15, 2005 Posted July 15, 2005 Its also in their profile - by clicking on the options bit on the right hand side.
Wolfie Posted July 15, 2005 Posted July 15, 2005 True, to both, but there are some forum admins that like to hover and get that information automatically instead of taking extra steps for it.
tranceandy Posted July 16, 2005 Posted July 16, 2005 Its also in their profile - by clicking on the options bit on the right hand side.I think it's fine like that but if it doesn't add any extra queries etc, then
