url redirect tag request

I'm sure it's probably actually a reasonably simple mod/feature request but I wonder if it would be possible to implement an url redirect tag for in the forum posts.

I often post urls to other sites and I'd love to be able to track clickthroughs on selected urls in much the same way as a redirect forum would do.

For example:

instead of using the [url*] tag in a post, you could use something like [urlr] and then when you post your topic/post with that tag, it would show as something like:

http://forums.invisionpower.com [5 clicks]

Does anyone know how this might be achieved or if it's a possible feature in the next version?
