Since i've upgraded to 4.2 many members are having problems with Tapatalk and i've uploaded the latest "mobiquo" to the server but its still not working... Has anyone got it working? if so could you zip the "mobiquo" file so i could try it out... Thanks

Hello everybody, I've got an problem using the REST-API. I want to update the "customfields" of my members, but it fails. Changing "name", "email",... works fine. I'm using the format described in the documentation (https://invisioncommunity.com/developers/rest-api?endpoint=core/members/POSTitem) and send the request as 'application/x-www-form-urlencoded' (https://invisioncommunity.com/developers/rest-api). Dear All When a warning is emailed to a member it includes a line "Penalty: Given 1 point which will never expire". I want to remove this line. Using a process of trial and error I have successfully removed it from the HTML email. However, try as I might, I can't remove it from the Plain Text email. I either get an error or it takes out too much text and I lose the other lines. Ok, so I use Chrome and the notification popup for other sites work fine. For whatever reason, it won't work on my site, though I've approved it to do so. Is there a setting somewhere in the forum software that I'm missing or anything else I should look at? Also, it works here just fine as well when I come into the site, it pops up, makes the sound and tells me what I'm notified of.

Am just starting to get to use Pages database and am trying to get an image (as per screenie) Have created a database and added a field (logo) and set it to only upload images (as can see it works) The only way I could find of getting image to upload is by using the 'Label: value' (with all the different color backgrounds) and changing css size values for that badge/img style) but am wondering if there is a much easier way or if that is the correct way of doing it Any advice appreciated

I'd like to create a place for my site users to see the latest site news and changes. Kind of an admin blog but I want it to appear as a prominent option for everyone to get to and optionally to be alerted to new posts. Hello! I recently purchased the IPS Community App. I am not trying to edit my user-groups a little bit, but struggling to find the answer to a few questions. 1. How can I add icons in front of a member's name that resides in a specific usergroup? Such as 2. How can I make it so that the usergroup's colored name shows up all across the forums rather than just on their profile and on the who's online list? Hello! We've recently moved to another server, and during the process we've upgraded the IPB version from 3.4.9 to 4.2.1. Also, yesterday we applied the upgrade to 4.2.2 (it was being recommended inside Admin CP). After all this, we ended up with our server configured and running as described below: - PHP's open_basedir configured to let writable the public_html and /tmp server's directories; - IPB's upgrader to 4.2.2 confirming that the "Upload" directory is writable (sorry, I forgot to take a screenshot of this); - Forum posts 100% accessible and working as expected; - AdminCP working as expected. - Member's Groups with the "Can upload…

Site is running 4.0.13.1 on Apache 2.2 and PHP 5.6.1 Base url in conf_global.php is https Whenever logged in, the SSL (padlock) is broken ... checking calls wihtin the page, it's the /uploads/set_resources_1/84c1e40ea0e759e3f1505eb1788ddf3c_select_dropdown.png file which is being called with http ... Strangely enough, the /uploads/set_resources_1/84c1e40ea0e759e3f1505eb1788ddf3c_default_photo.png is being loaded with https. Any suggestions or fix for this? We're in closed beta for this site, but when we launch, users won't like seeing 'broken' encryption padlocks even if the requests in question are to images on the same server. Thanks in advance

I have enabled our picks and have promoted topics but when I hit our picks the only thing that shows up is Pages. I do have pages as default since it is the page that guest see when they look at the board. Is there something else I can do? Thanks

I got someone to install 4.2.2. Now my board does not work properly, I have a custom skin and I dont know how to contact the developer. The update has messed up the position of the Navigation Menu, I wish I had never upgraded. I am blind and I cannot get it fixed, can the board be rolled back to before the update. I cannot afford another custom skin. If not its good bye to my board, I thought that with the inception of version 4 we would not have problems with things going wrong after an update. Thank you for any help you can give please. I should have left what was working alone.

I've been setting up my upgraded 4.x install, and eventually seemed to get everything sorted. The only issue that seems to remain is that I no longer have a sidebar in the forum. I might have been using a plugin in the old install, but I've got a sidebar on my frontpage, but I can't find where I can add one to the forum. Am I missing something here?
