Hello, I'm try to update from 4.2 version to 4.2.1 using interactive procedure step by step. At step 4 I have the follow message: Manual action required There was an error downloading the files to your server. Please download the update and upload the files to your server, or contact us for assistance. Now, I downloaded update manually and uploaded to web server (inside ips_fb6b6 there are two folders 'applications' and 'system'). Is that the correct procedure? because IPS don't releave the new version and always says there are 4.2.1 update available to do. Thank You

Hey all, Is there any way to add more services to the upload menu (see attachment)? Such as Google Photos? We've found a possible workaround to the 200 error when uploading from mobile. On iOS, if you enable Dropbox as a storage device, you can upload from there & it works (in limited testing) with files that fail otherwise. It would be nice if we could add more services, such as Google Photos (since it's so popular). So far I can't find any reference to that menu in the ACP anywhere. Is it customizable at all?

Hello Community, So I'm back at it with IPS 4.2 and I've pulled my old 4.1 board page out of the dust. I created a "Featured" section at the top of my homepage with a custom template. As you can see in my image, the picture is distorted. I believe this is because it is using the _record_image_thumb as part of the image url. So, it's basically stretching a thumbnail image causing the distortion. I"m wondering if one of you guru's can help me figure out how to change my code to call for a larger version of the image so it doesn't create that distortion? Thanks for your help and expertise in advance.

We need to export a thread from my restored forum from an earlier back up and import it into our live forum. (same users, same setup etc) Basically a guy deleted his thread by accident on the 27th, we didn't notice until the 2nd. Its a thread with 2000+ pages and 7 years old. I didn't want to lose many days of content just for his thread, as we would have lost 7000 posts. So i have got a backup from the 26th up and running, so he can access it, but i would like to export it out and import it into the current forum. I am pretty sure they are happy to pay to get the script written, but from my research its a near impossible task Sadly i updated the forum …

Just upgraded to 4.2.1 Everything else seems fine but when anyone reads the forums you can click onto a topic, read page 1, but when you click to go to next page it just says 'loading' and sticks on that? Any ideas?

I've written elsewhere about the problems I'm having trying to upgrade to 4.2 so now I'm asking for help from anyone familiar with servers and software. I'm just a forum admin who spends money on forum software and web hosting fees. I can install, I can ftp and so on, but when there's a problem I need some help. I use shared hosting via Bravenet as my forum is only a small community. The ips4.php test file, which admittedly was designed for 4.1 still says my server is suitable for IP Board installation (I'm good to go!) and Invision tell me that nothing has changed in 4.2 - so it should work right? Hi, I have admins that function as community managers. When new members create accounts with us, it is a Community Manager's task to list them as a new member and when new members are promoted on our forums it is the Community Managers job to change their rank on our Discord. What I'd like to know is if the following is possible: 1) Set things up so that our community managers receive an email every time a new member registers 2) Set things up so that when forum users are promoted in rank, our community managers receive a notification email. Hi there! We were wondering if it was possible to use the Clubs, for example if someone was accepted to a Club, they would receive a Secondary Group promotion? Usually, we'd do this with the Collab application and Rules attached to it. Please let us know. Thanks!
