Hi, I've changed the URL of my forum and now the icons are missing from both the frontend and ACP. I've updated the file storage settings in the ACP and changed my URL in conf_global but it seems that the board is still referencing the old URL to get the font. Any ideas what else I need to change?

Sorry if these questions were asked before, but I couldn't find anything. I'm trying to fetch 10 files from each download category ID by modifying my templates. I found some reference in recentFiles template, but the $files variable is already passed to this widget with the data.{{if count( $files )}} {{foreach $files as $file}} {template="fileRow" group="widgets" app="downloads" params="$file, $orientation"} {{endforeach}} {{else}} no files {{endif}} So question is, how do I populate $files variable with files from specific category? As the Pages app was not shown as a link after upgrading from 3.4.7 to 4.0.2, I thought I might fix it by uninstalling it and re-installing it. Unfortunately, the site looks this way now I still have acces to the AdminCP ... Pages looks as followed and under System/Applications the Pages app is shown this way I downloaded the Pages app again from the website and wanted to install it. But one needs a tar-file for this and all I get is a zip-file. Any help is appreciated.

Is the removal of "protected forum" and post counts for forums that guests can view, but not see topics an intended change? On 3.4.x guests or groups with perms set to see forum but not see topics would still see post counts and instead of last post info on the right they would see "protected forum". On 4, post counts are gone and instead of protected forum it now says "no posts here yet" which is VERY misleading. If this is an intended change, could I get some assistance from someone on how to get it back to showing post counts and "protected forum"? I have been looking at my settings for sitemap and just wondering if there is supposed to be a sitemap created for the individual records for my database. The database contains blog articles. I am wondering if it is supposed to create sitemap entries for the hundreds of blog articles or is it just pointing to the one page?

I looked at the Cron task logs in ACP (IPB 4.0.2), and under "sitemapgenerator" it's reporting "Only subclasses of Dispatcher can be instantiated." once every hour. That's the only error in any of the logs. Anyone know what's causing it? This is a screenshot:

I am starting to have many emails from members asking me to change their Display Name as they can t find it in their Edit Profile I think the current location of the Display name functionality is not intuitive Could you add an option in the Edit profile to edit the display name It would be more user friendly to see it on top of the Edit Profile model window instead of hidden in the Account Settings

Hello, Thank you for your help. I have two problems. All users have the IP address : 94.23.211.78 What can I do ? Secondly, the first entries are ok. Members were validated by email. Now I have to manually validated. However, in the configuration I always ticked validation by the user. Thank you !

My forum which is on the IPB cloud is so slow , takes at least 90 seconds to load . This is disastrous for a forum and I only have 5 members .I sent emails to all my old members to register and everyone says the site is too slow.

I have tried telling my users not to post certain images as it messes with the board layout im just wondering if this can be fixed? They insist on using for example this kind of link and embedding it as an image. https://twitter.com/ozchrisrock/status/593231136974839808/photo/1 <--- this type of link causes the image to leave the post container. when it should be https://pbs.twimg.com/media/CDuUk0BVEAA9j68.jpg so i need to either know how to disable adding the above type of link or a way to fix the issue.

Hi, I have received a notification from Google that smartphone users might not be able to access my content at all, and Google might not be able to show my pages in search results. This is because Googlebot for smartphones encountered a sudden jump in the number of blocked URLs for this site. Most of the links are with "tags" or "user" in the path, for instance: forum/tags/forums/repack forum/user/34941-luisk1193/ forum/tags/forums/chipset/ I have more than 700 reported pages that have this issues. I am new to IPB in general but do have some knowledge of HTML and CSS. I'd like to change the way records are shown on my pages, but I feel kind of lost when it comes to templates for blocks, pages and databases. Could someone point me in the right direction where to start when it comes to editing the layout of a page? @Ralf H. managed to turn his frontpage into something beautiful, especially the way featured images are shown (http://typography.guru/).
