Help! i just migrated and my V-bul was under /forums. So now I need my IPB moved from /forum to /forums instead. I can't find anything to change the address in the new admin CP. I did change the conf_global file. Without changing anything in the admin cp, the forum works, but the admin cp fails. Please if anyone can help me fast. I need to get to bed.

I wanted to add oEmbed from CKEditor to the toolbar in IPS, but it had dependency issue.So I installed in this order:1. Lineutils2. Widget3. oEmbedNow I cannot see any toolbar buttons in the toolbar. Only the separator line shows. Is there a way to manually remove these last edits. I dont want to reset because I have made some custom buttons before that I need. Stig

In previous IPS admin IP could be elected to be PRIVATE in posts and everything. Mods couldnt see it and you could avoid MODS seeing each others IP too. How to do this in IPS4?

In IPB 3.4x there was a debug mode that lists page information at the bottom of the page. I think it was called debug mode, I can't recall. There were 2 or 3 options to choose from. Where is it in IPB 4?

I'm trying to allow our writers to upload MP4 files and image files as part of a featured image field we use. Is there a way to use the {{if}} statement as per below however changing the first line to check if the value ends with a specific file format? Is it possible to use raw PHP at all? Whenever I publish new records on my website, they will automatically show up in a specific forum too. However, I also allow my visitors to publish records through the "Create" option on top of the page. These new records are moderated by the staff before they are published, but by doing so they do not show up as a post in the forum as well. Is this a bug or am I missing something? http://www.ajaxdaily.com is my site.

When upgrading to IPB v4 from 3.48 I continue to have an issue with the query for altering the prefix_core_sessions table. My IPB v3.48 DB doesn't contain a prefix_core_sessions table -- only a prefix_sessions table -- so I cannot run the first ALTER query successfully. Does anybody have suggestions regarding why this would be the case or how to address it?

Updated from 3.4.8 to the last IPS4 version today, but we have a problem with language section, is not possible to add another language, it goes to blank page and doesnt work. URL: www.domain.admin/?adsess=bh2rplfi0u91rofiv29t0uudi4&app=core&module=languages&controller=languages&do=form&id=2 Another way is duplicate the existing english default and upgrade it to other one, but after it is not possible to edit and change the name and flag (again blank page and doesnt work nothing). I read this information: And it's not very clear. I created 2 ad units for the top of my site, 1 for desktop 1 for mobile. I used the "ipsresponsive_showDesktop" in the desktop on and the "showMobile" in the mobile one. However, I am getting mobile advertisements on my desktop, specifically when I click on a thread. Do I have to do all of this within the same ad unit? Currently I'm using adsense & "responsive" ads, but I'm moving away from adsense to another advertiser and they do not offer responsive ads, only 728x90 & 300x50. Any help is appreciated.

I noticed today that when I click on an image in a post (made in 3.4.7) it just get downloaded - it is not opened properly for display. If I post a new post with images - it is displayed and opened properly. Has anybody a fix for that issue?

I have upgraded my test forum from 3.4.7 to IPS4 after IPS4 had gone gold ( Probably 4.0.0 ) . I had not realised the situation since I had a problem with Tapatalk addon for IPS4. Yesterday I have realised all of the forum categories in 3.4.7 were converted as Type -> Discussions instead of Type -> Category . ( Which caused sub--forum listing failure in Tapatalk ) Is this still the case for the latest builds which I will have to deal with when I upgrade in the near future or already solved ?

hay guys was trying to fix the mess of emotions from my upgrade to 4.0 . there used to be import/expot options but im not seeing anything like that now. is there no way to export all my emotions (1500+)? and after i fix them is there a way to import them all back instead of one by one ?

Hi, I'd like to use Pages to create something like this: http://clarity-dojo.com/video/ (the image thumbnails). And when you click the image it, it will display the contents e.g. http://clarity-dojo.com/topic/108-tower-of-mushin/#comment-272 through a pop up window. The idea behind this is that I have 13+ of those threads and I'd like to have them all on one page, with image previews and the content would be displayed to the user upon clicking. The images/previews would have a description like in gallery so for those that don't know what the images are, they can resort to reading the description. Problem is I don't know where to start (nor am I good at coding in html).

Hi, is the avatar photo upload feature bugged? I am running 4.0.12.1 with imagemagick and on uploading 150x150px transparent pngs it seems all of them loose the transparency.. Maybe its a bug in that cropper tool?

I have upgraded IPS to 4.0.12.1 version from 4.0.11 The plugins have stop working post upgrading; in dashboard i have this message: Attività blocate The following tasks appear to be locking frequently: updatecheck. Please run them manually. If you require assistance with any errors shown please contact technical support. I've just installed a fresh IPB4 on my localhost and would like to import my current data (database, files) from my live server, which is version 3.4.6. How would I go about doing this, aren't the database tables different in 4, and would the directory structure be the same?
