After upgrading from IPS 4rc7 to IPS 4.0.2, I found some problems: When trying to access an article, I am told that the content I am looking for cannot be found ( "We could not locate the item you are trying to view" ). I attached a screen snippet of the error I am getting. The title of the page (The test displayed in my browser tab) says that I don't "have the permission for this". The error code given is 3T252/2. How should I proceed?

In IPB 3 it was possible to make blocks that only displayed one article/record. For example, I could make one block that only displayed the first article, I could then make another block that only displayed the second article, and so on. But I don't see any option to do this in Pages in IPB 4. Or am I blind or something?

Hi, i am trying to get used to the databases in Pages. So far i have been able to replicate the famous "bug tracker". I hope someone who's handy at databases in Pages could tell me how to: 1) After 15 days have passed since a user has posted a record, a button to "bump" the record up in the listing should appear on the record display screen. How do i do this? 2) The "Bump" would have to set the publish date of the record as "today's date", as they are ordered by publising data (most recent on the top). How can i do this? I would be very grateful if someone could help me. P.S. - Please move this topic if it's not on the right place.

I'm not sure if this has been brought up before, but is there a way to make all groups view signatures by default? It seems that viewing signatures is off by default now and I can't find where to change that.

In gategory index are Gategory menu http://hoitajat.net/hoitotyo/ajankohtaista/ If i remove it via block manager, it comes back couple of minutes later. How do i remove that? edit: it shows only when logged in.

Any idea why this custom block won't display when I insert it in Pages? It looks fine in the block-preview window. The default code doesn't work either. Just got this software and trying to get it to work on windows but the installer crashes and i dont really know why. Tried to contact the support but they do not provide support for windows The Installer is stopping at the last step, no errors, nothing ... For some reason when i add a new avatar, the crop box / arrows don't show up so i cant crop avatar pictures. Using IPB 4.0.3 and it does it on the default theme as well as a custom one.

Hi, I bought IPS 4.x and started using it, but there is no proper support given for the new version or might be the case that i am not able to find it properly, As the documentation given , contains a file structure that is totally different from the application i have, for instance there should be a "sso.php" file in "admin/sources/classes/session/" , its ok that there is no file maybe its not included in the application but that folder structure is not even there i.e. there is no 'sources' folder in 'admin' folder. Kindly it would be nice if any1 out can guide me to a documentation regarding the new file structure.

I'm using a fresh copy of IPB 4.0.3. Whenever i try to install any 3rd party application, I've tried multiple ones and I always get the error below after i click install. Since it happens with multiple apps, I don't think it's the apps themselves. Any ideas?

Hi, i will update my community to 4.0.x, now that i feel things are getting stable enough. I have lots of garbage after 13 years of using IPB. I would like to delete all files on IPB directory and start it "clean", (keeping the DB intact, of course) If i leave only the conf_global.php, and the uploads directory, will everthing go fine? Or do i need to keep anything else?
