When you upload images to a post, normally or inserting them or external links they show in the post full size, which can be quite big, a lot of scrolling to see 5-6 large images. Is there an option to limit their size?

Hi, twice under version 4 the table structure has changed requiring me to modify the SQL query in the attached php script, the most recent change has me stumped as I'm not able to find where the "Group names" are stored like they were prior to the change. The only table I can find them in is "core_sys_lang_words" however I don't know how to use this to create the query linking the information together (I'm not a programmer) I've tried support and you can imagine what they said. I run this script as a cronjob, essentially it grabs members of a group, purchase date information (expiry dates etc) and inserts it into another database I have. I'd really appreciate some assista…

Hi, I don't know if I have translated the widget's name correctly though I think everyone knows which widget I am talking about. I think this plugin is not working properly. It always shows as if I were the only one browsing "downloads" app, which is not possible. Moreover, if I open "who's online" and go to any of the sections that any user is visiting, it shows the same, no one but me. Is anyone in this situation? Regards, Ibai

I have tried the commerce in demo version and liked it quite well, but stuck with a situation that it is not accepting paypal credential and not showing any payment method. Is it coz of demo version or some bug in demo or actual commerce for IPS4....?

I moved my community database over to a test directory to install ipb 4 and now I want to move my forum back to my /forums/ dirctory but I get an error when I change it both the directory name and in the conf_global.php. Anyway to fix this? I get this error when I try changing the domain back to /forums/ "Fatal error: Class 'IPS\Dispatcher\Front'"

Anyone ran into this problem yet? I've searched around and haven't seen. I'm trying to move my community to IPB 4.0 but getting stuck on the UTF-8 conversion process. My community has about 1.6m posts and the converter gets stuck on the "Processing posts" part. I don't know how to get around this. I've actually checked the database, and it seems it has converted all of them, but the converter still says its processing them.

In Version 3 I could re-send validation emails to all those awaiting validation (listed in the same page). It looks like Version 4 only allows me to re-send validation emails one user at a time. Am I missing something?

I don't why my forum pro-ucheba.com were so slow... My server time response is about 2000 ms! But, the same forum on the same hosting online-ege.com is about 50-60 ms! (duplicate all same files and database from pro-ucheba.com, sorry IPS for this, it's for testing, and you are didn't help me with that problem...) I don't understand why such difference between similar sites...

I have a database (no categories) set up to display records as articles. It's added to a page to make a simple directory of sorts and I'm happy with that for now. I'd like to be able to mark certain records as Featured and promote them to display on the front page, *exactly as they do on the records-as-articles* page. This seems like an obvious choice for a feed plugin and it *almost* works except that it appears that feed plugins use the listing group template. I get errors if I try to use a different template group such as normal featured article template. I'm at a loss as to how to create a "listing" template that works as the 'records-as-articles' templates do, with …

Hi there, All my old post's links are broken. None of them have a "href" so they point to the same page. Is anyone having the same issue after upgrading to 4.0.x? I upgraded from 3.4.x to 4.0.11. Any script to rebuild every link? Example: http://www.fmsite.net/foro/forums/topic/76720-2º-reto-dmc-the-dreamer/ http://www.fmsite.net/foro/forums/topic/72318-kits-fb-temporada-2014-2015/ As you can see, old links miss their HREF tag. Have yet to receive an answer to my "Product Assistance" ticket, so asking here: Where is the Full and Complete Documentation of the Pages App? In IPS 4 we have the address field. If we choose USA, a state drop down menu is show. But if we choose another country the drop down menu gives it place to a input text field. How to add states to other countries? And how to set the default country (built in settings is for USA as default). Thanks!

I'm having a major pages index issue and thought I would make a thread to see if anyone has any ideas on this. I just submitted this to support but like to see if maybe I can get a quicker solution, maybe I've done something wrong here. Not sure. I ran the SEO checker and had these errors in the screenshot. So, I'm curious about how this works. I pay 75$ for the application for my IPS 4.0 and then it runs just fine and dandy. At the end of the year, does it lock out? And then it's not available afterward...? Or is that just a 1-time buy in and then the 55$ renewal is to purchase further updates after the year is up?

Hello, Just updated to the most current version of IPB, I was already on 4 to begin with. Whenever I try to save a usergroup I am getting this error - "Please select a value that is no less than 1". I have tried making new groups and using different computers, the problem remains. Any ideas? Thank you in advance!

I'm wanting to check if a database field is empty within a template. In this case, it's using a YouTube URL and if it is in an article, I want to change how an article is displayed. Users trying to save a reply to content, system says 'saving', but then refreshes the page. Happens on occasion with not allowing new content to be saved. Which means that a post tha tmight have taken a few hours to design, is lost. (Yes, I am now saving all posts prior to hitting submit). Anyone see anything like this, any work arounds?

Small question. In the ACP when I have the default IPB skin active all is ok as far as icon images go... But when I do this, and change to BlueBoh theme as can be seen in the following image... It works fine in the main site as the theme is going active when I hit Save but this is what happens in the ACP...... This has affected all pages in the ACP and not restriced to Themes... Any thoughts and solutions would be appreciated. Thanks.
