I've recently just upgraded our IPS from 4 to 4.1.2 and we are getting the following problem with the header styling: As you can see some of the background seems to be missing below the navigation. The only custom CSS we have is for something on a different page that only applies to a custom class. Other than that, it is just the default template.

Is there a way in IP.Pages to insert an image in "Display Custom Format" under Display Options for a select box? The following code doesn't work: {{if ($value=='yes')}} <img src="images/yes.png" title="" alt="" /> {{elseif ($value=='no')}} <img src="images/no.png" title="" alt="" /> {{endif}} With that I just get the html entry (<img src="images/yes.png" title="" alt="" />) displayed.

I have a couple of posts that seem to be stuck. Even though they've been done they still show on the index. When I click it there's nothing to be done. I've already run "Something isn't working correctly" from adminCP and this persists.

It seems it's not possible for an "Admin" to by pass this setting. Is there some way an Admin can by pass this, in order to change a users name? Reason: I have my forum setup that users can not create specific user names, it has to be approved by an admin, therefore the admin will then change the users name as needed. But, with this specific setting in place, an admin is unable to do so, and therefore must "delete" that setting, change the users name, and then re-add that setting. Is there some way around this for Admins to be able to do this, with out having to delete and readd this setting?

tested the update from 4.0.13.1 to 4.1.1 when running diagnostics after purge caches; the system tries to revert to the default or restore default theme which results in an error (in 4.1.2 editing style causes the same permission issue when saving) ACP also seem to terminate sessions much faster now then before (an hour?) site right after upgrade, not logged in yet (login behind menu bar) (logo image disappeared and had to be re-uploaded) Logged in, note CSS is still broken Repair attempt continue issue not resolved continue anyway issue not resolved continue issue not resolved con…

Can anybody tell me if IPB 4.1.2 will run on PHP 5.3 as I remember seeing a message on the 4.1 install that future versions are possibly going to need PHP 5.4? I put in a support ticket 2 days ago to find out and I still haven't received a reply, so I'm hoping I can get a confirmation here.

Was unable to delete a ticket due some vague error so I manually deleted it from the database but now it won't allow users to make a ticket anymore neither one will be made if a e-mail is send. I can however make one from the admincp. What do I do?

Hi there. Long time SMF user, 2 week IPB admin user. But i love it, and trying not to be an excitable puppy about all this new functionality! Anyway.. new IPB install, but loads of existing data from a 10 year old board. But now the odd topic is disappearing and the thread that went last night was 30+ pages long. SO: 1st: Noob question - When a topic is deleted removed (by system or application or user) where does it go? On my board (4.1) Mod cp I can go to hidden content, and there is nothing there. 2nd: If not there, it might hopefully be in the DB still - how to I get it back? Hey guys, Our forum has been closed down for several days now since our upgrade and it's killing us. At this point I think IP staff is only working on one of the problems (mon-fri unfortunatly) due to my idiotic way of submitting multiple support topics in one ticket. They have made mention of the other problems but I'm not sure they deeply looked into it. But right now I NEED to re-open my forum. I made database backups before the 3.4 to 4.1 upgrade and I have normal full site backups. But my fear is if they will end up needing to go back and restore or try to re-encode from those backups killing off any new fresh content posted. Does that make sense? I'm going to out…

I'm trying to display subcategory files in the main category like I was able to in IPB3. Even on the marketplace they aren't doing it so I'm not sure if there's a features to do it yet. If you go to the marketplace and click on "Previous Versions" under "Categories: you will see exactly what I'm talking about. One of my users has two blogs and recently tried to post an entry to the existing blog. Once she selected the correct blog,she has two, she was presented with another screen and another selection pull-down. It never moves to the blog in question so she can enter anything. If she goes directly to her blog and tries to post, it goes to this second pulldown screen asking her to select which blog to post to, then the loop continues. I on the other hand can blog just fine. Any ideas?
