Hey guys, Im using different databases on my pages section on my website. Al these pages have their own 'frontpage' with shown records. Is there a possibilty to combine all these databases on 1 overviewpage? When i created the different pages i used the {database="4" title="Title"} and so on and on (got 5 in total), so each of them would have their own website section. Now i want al these different databases to join forces on 1 overview page. Is that simply combining the database names inside the code: {database="4" "5" "1" title="Home"} etc, or do i have to try something else? Many thanks in advance!

Hi everyone, I have a problem with the system locale of the server, which my language is not listed in the supported system locale, thus it places english names for both month and day names, does there is a way to bypass the system locale and using the translated language phrases instead? or Creating a hook for changing day and month names? So I am working on the API and attempting to get this to work, but when I utilize the site, it crashes out and gives me the error. When I include another part of the site I get Fatal Errors. I'd really like Stream view to show some kind of Hot Topic indicator the way the forums display does. Can anyone point me to which Template I need to be digging around in to make this happen? I want Streams to become most of my members' main landing page, but I'd like to do some customization work first.

Since 4.1 removed Sphinx, I need to get the SQL search working for my forum. The primary item I need is the ability to search hyphenated words. Here's what I have tried: In /usr/share/mysql/charsets/ I edited latin1.xml (where character_set_server and character_set_database point to) and in the ctable entry changed 10 to 01 in the 3rd row 14th column (0x2D) I then restarted mysql and even apache, rebuilt the search index and still am unable to search for hyphenated words. Can anyone help me with what I may be doing wrong?

Hi guys, I'm trying to fix this issue, but I can't find a solution. This is my board, and the problem is that the header ads (Responsive) pushes the sidebar on the right exceeding the content width. I tried to force a max-width putting the script inside a div with a style, (you can see the right width highlighted in blue), but it does not work. Any idea? Thanks! Alex

I need some help trying to use a Google News RSS feed URL. I have used them on past sites and they have worked fine, but now I am getting the error message That is not a valid RSS or Atom feed. Can someone please point me in the right direction on the proper format. OK, I'm running IPB v3.4.7 and want to install a test forum with v4.0.13.1 on a sub-domain. I got errors: So basically I need to install php v5.4, correct? If I install php 5.4 on my GoDaddy shared hosting, will it break my current forum running v3.4.7 on php 5.2.17? Or will the forum automatically recognize the php upgrade and still work?

So I recently underwent a partnership with a fellow member of the IPS community to combine our sites. Two weeks later, I strongly regret that and I see exactly how stupid I was xD. He's having a bit of tantrum(claims to have multiple personalities). I discovered that he edited a few user accounts and placed them in my usergroup (Giving them full powers that I had and that he lacked). Quite frankly, I am disappointed that IPS doesn't have a better way to protect the super admin...it seemed way easier on IPB3 but I digress. So now my site is a bit jacked up and not working. I am trying to enable the "Rewrite URLs" option under Search Engine Optimization. Hi, Installed IP.Download not long ago but problem with it is when me or my friend uploads a 76MB file it says file was uploaded successfully since it says Done but once we click submit the download file appears as Size 4MB and when we download file we only get 4MB from it instead of 76MB and i have been through every settings in admincp cannot find any limit there and servers php.ini is set to 200M limit per file on upload yet file converts from 76MB to 4MB which is really weird :/ I hope there is a way to solve this since it's annoying us alot.

Hi, I have test new menu and found more problem with "positioning" element inside it. Pages, external link, it goes when it wont... After of it, i go here to search for bug and/or open it. But before to open i've try "support, empty cache" and menu come back to work in fantastic way So, just for report, if u have problem with menu try to empty cahe from support tool. Regards, S.N.

While using 4.1.3.2 (also happened in 4.1.2) if I try to set a caching method from Advanced Configuration->Data Storage, after setting the constants file and saving, the site becomes incredibly slow for about 10 seconds, and then just starts returning Error 500 page until I restart php to give myself enough time to quickly change the caching method back to no caching. I've tried both Memcached and Redis, both of which I can confirm are installed and running. Also tried using them both with Data Storage Method of File System or MySQL Database, no matter the combination once the site becomes unusable my error logs start spitting out constant error messages similar …

With 3.4 I was able to use this resource and a certain amount of brain juice to make custom blocks that would, for example, give me a feed of post from new members, of highest rated posts for the week, etc. For example the following looks for posts made in the last day, by members with less than five posts. I've recently upgraded to 4.0x it was all working fine and perfectly for about 2-3 minutes and all of a sudden this happens look in the screenshots, my admin area looks all messed up and so does my main forum page, but 2-3 minutes after installing it was working fine. any idea what going on?
