I put a advertisement widget on sidebar. I tried to reorder the sidebar advertisement widget, advertisement after certain widget, but it is not showing up on the menu nor on the view, How can I place that widget wherever I want on sidebar block? Note: On the sidebar (I want it to show after certain widget)

I am using the staff page as a clan roster(not ideal but until some one comes up with one it is what it is). Lately when I add someone to the staff page it is not showing their group. Was working flawlessly until about a week ago. Any ideas how to get this working again?

ok it appears that my 'conversion' from years ago just was not complete or failed but I have been running IPB for a long time but i still get people trying to find ancient posts. i can find old posts in the old database but simply don't exist in the live IPB. I still have my conversion table but even that isn't 100% accurate to figure out the translated ID numbers. Is there any way to figure to how to restore as they are reported missing posts?

Good evening I have been trying to update my forums IPB4, they haven't been updated for some time (July/Aug). From the information displayed in the Dashboard area it lists the updates and then the download option. I have downloaded the file, extracted it, uploaded it and started the update process done the login, system and licence check but when it goes to applications I get the following message. "There are no applications available to upgrade" I have asked via the support ticket system for assistance but keep getting told to check the client area I do this and can't find the updates.

I just made a fresh install of IPS 4.1.4.1 on my local machine. I also set it to developer mode, since I intend to work on some applications. Now I want to create a new application. I fill in the form as follows: Then clicking 'Save' gives me this: The main error reads 'UnderflowException lang_not_exists____app_gmsc'. So how can this be solved? This is the first action I've performed after the install of IPS and added the devtools, so the install is completely vanilla. If I ignore the error, and go to 'Applications' in the AdminCP, my application is there, and seems to be created correctly. I can create modules, hooks etc without a problem,…

Maybe I'm doing something wrong but I thought themes were supposed to auto update except for custom.css (for those that only used that file). i.e. An update would overwrite anything that hadn't been changed. Even the IPS Support one I just created doesn't include the changes here. Is this a bug or am I missing something?

I had a crashed table, the task manager table. I got it fixed after a few tries but I am still getting a Driver Error.... I fixed it using the SQL toolbox in the admin control panel.... Hello, I have a problem since yesterday. I do not know if this is related to the update that I did. I do not see the possibility to make status updates for everyone. When I look into the options group, I have "Can post status updates?" : OK (for all groups) but I need to turn this setting on each status individually for that we can post your status.

To be clear, I'm going to add all the provided robots.txt sample stuff into my live robots.txt. But 98% of our forums are member only and private. The other 2% are viewable by public but with no posting privileges. Nothing in the robots.txt can make the search engines see or index our member only content correct? It will just show the areas that are visible to guests by that permission set? Just verifying... Thanks!

1. We allow Guest in the forum. When Guest Post, it shows the prefix Guest from Guests Group. 2. In this example, The Guest name is XXXX. System automatically prefix with Guest XXXX. Then show that the person is from Guests group. 3. How to remove the Guest prefix (The red Square). Thanks.

Hi, We have a big issue here, users can't connect to our forums since about 3 hours ago and get an EX0 error. I have opened a ticket but I'm posting this here also. We need it to get fixed ASAP.
