i was using wordpress for my mainpage and now i removed it and moved my forum to the root of my domain and using pages for default module everything looks fine i have also changed storage path File System: /home5/xxxxx/public_html/uploads but now i notice there is no error page when someone visits an incorrect path for example no matter what you type after hellshammers.net/sadsadfsadfsdfgsdgsdfg http://hellshammers.net/dggkljkwewecdsc it keeps showing my homepage

Version 4.0.13.1 Hi all, I've a little problem on my forum. Last week I have downloaded the files to make the upgrade to the 4.1.4.1 Version and than uploaded... unfortunately I haven't see that my php Version is lower than the one that I need. Problem? Hi, as posted in the link below, I am trying to upgrade from 2.3.6 to 4.1. I completed the upgrade to 3.4.8 and checked it worked ok. All seemed fine apart from the css and template being stored in the cache, so I have to reinstate that. I downloaded and unpacked the 4. files, uploaded them tothe forums directory, and then went to start /admin/upgrade. It gives me the login page, but regardless of what id and password I put in I get a display saying 'Incorrect arguments to mysqld_stmt_execute '. Any idea what I have wrong, or missed ? Hi, Apologies if I am missing something really obvious here. I am just wondering if there is a way to make warning alerts anonymous when the member is notified of the warning? I would rather it said something more general, such as having been warned by *a* staff member or moderator, rather than actually naming the specific individual who issued the warning. Also, whenever a Moderator issues a warning, is there a setting that I can use which will automatically generate a new thread into a 'warning archives' type forum? I know this appears elsewhere anyway, but it would be useful if they could also be filtered into a specific forum as and when issued. Is…

I don't know how else to explain this but I've ran into one of the strangest glitches with the WYSIWYG editor. The problem is that when I create a page through the ACP using the pagebuilder, I've created my page with the WYSIWYG editor. However, when I go back and try to re-edit the page, I get the following glitch: I've tried everything from updating my web browser software, tried using multiple different web browsers, clearing my browser cache, deleting temporary internet files, and even using the Customization>Support feature to re-cache the IPS software. Just for everyone FYI, we have noted substantial increase (5-6 times) in creating new members in last two weeks after implementing this new change. We restricted the guest access to read any inside pages (topics, classifieds, business listing etc) for 15 secs only. Guest can still stroll through out the board and see the content count and list of forums and sub forums for unlimited time. This invisible ad slot (only for guest) has been triggered 46000 times in last 17 days = 2700 / day. I highly recommend this for board that has too many guest and too little members online. Don't know how else to say this but that I'm looking to create a series of links that direct users to such articles on my site like Forum Rules, Terms of Service, etc., that appear horizontally just below the normal system breadcrumbs of IP4. Unfortunately, I'm not as familiar with the template code just yet and I could use some help in designing breadcrumbs for such links. Before anyone suggests to use the navigational menu, I'm not interested in using the navigation menu for these links since I need these links to be visible to users and registered members at all times. First I want to say I have been really critical of 4.x and for that I would like to apologize. I also want to say thank you to Ryan Ashbrook for his timely assistance. Old Goats tend to resist major change but if it is for the better then maybe I need to get with it. I have managed to upgrade my test site to 4.x it is simpler it seems in the management. The ACP if friendly enough. There are a few things I will miss like post preview, and the Youtube thing I hope to figure out. I need some help in excluding the standard IPB ads (header and footer) from certain pages: register, signup, store etc. Can someone please help with required code editing in those pages like by placing some exclusion script or add those pages names in advertisement codes to be excluded or place some exclusion codes in custom.css. So I have recently installed IPS Community Suite V4 (self-hosted), however upon attempting to login to the Admin control panel (ACP) with the correct credentials, I receive an error message stating "Your IP Address does not match this session".... Occasionally I am able to login, and can see that every log in attempt comes from a 10. address, which i've not come across before. My public IP address is in the 109. region. When I am able to log in, I am only able to manage a few clicks in the control panel before I am kicked out again with the same error message. I have 40 + themes setup on a local. Every time I need to shut down Designers Mode for an upgrade restarting after is a pain in the back side... Reason is Microsoft slips in their little hidden thumb.db file anytime you add an image to a theme file causing a permissions error while rebuilding Designers Mode. Is anyone else having this issue? If so, how did you fix it? The only way so far that I have found is un-hiding the hidden files through out the Windows 10 system then going to the themes directory and deleting every instance prior to restarting Designers Mode.... Or wait until the permissions error pops up..... Either way this is a waste of time hunting them…

Hello; yesterday our site started throwing generic_error EX1210 and will not display any content. We are unable to access the ACP or restart the webserver or database server right now. We have not installed anything or changed anything and the error seems to have started on it's own. Hi, i have an IP Pages creating a forum topic for each article, for comments. The thing is, IP pages also puts the whole content of the article into the topic. As google may complain about the duplicate content, i would like to know if it could put just a "teaser" of the article instead of the whole text and how can i do this. I suppose i have to edit any file, but i don't know which one. May somebody help me?

Is there a way to set a given notification configuration to all users in the database? For instance (just an example), I want to change the "When someone likes something I posted" notification from all users to "notification list" instead of "email". How can I do that? Maybe through an SQL query?

Hello, I've been trying to use an an FTP, both FileZilla and WinSCP, and I haven't been able to connect to the server because I've been getting timeouts on both programs. It says the connection is established, but it will not allow for the directory to retrieved before telling me it has timed out. I've tried adjusting the settings, trying both active and passive modes, as well as disabling my firewall and no results. Could this be a server side thing? Thanks.
