I change background colour but that only changes the colour behind the text, if that makes sense. Thanks for any help. Edit: Fixed. Added to source: Well, something similiar, IPB corrected it I think which was cool. Background colour now changed. Surely a button to change this could be added? EDIT 2: Nope, not fixed. In the preview, the background is a solid colour yet when looking at the page, still not a solid background colour. All I have in the source is: The preview shows a solid colour. The actual page is still white. Can someone more competent clarify if I am doing it wrong or if is a bug? Thanks.

Before we went to Version 4... which I was glad to do... people could login using Facebook. Now they get this error message.. Invalid App ID: Club Adventist Anyone else have that problem? Did Facebook make major changes?

Hello guys :-) I´m struggling with a strange problem right now. I have also bought downloads for IPB. Works pretty good but only for small files. (set file limit to 1,5gb , every extension) all groups have permission. I try to upload the big file and then it says EX0 (700mb)... i upload a small file like 5mb and it works like a charm: http://www.china-devices.com/files/ i´m really clueless. maybe something wrong with hosting settings ? everything seems fine in IPB :S maybe someone of you faced the same problem. cheers,

I browsed the forums for a solution and I couldn't really find anything that fits. What I'm trying to do is create a "database" similar to IMDB. I'd like to have, say a movie, and on that movie's page you can access screenshots, trailers, trivia, movie info, etc. etc. I'm trying to plan out the database, but I think something like this would require multiple databases per movie. I would have an Movie DB and connected to that would be records for the movie's screenshots, trailers, trivia page, etc. etc. Any ideas on how to achieve this?

I created a few blocks, but I don't see the option to add an IPS HTML wrapper. Where would I find the information to guide me on this Also, I used an HTML table in an attempt to add some padding to the block, but it does not recognize the code as far as I can tell Any help would be appreciated.

I converted my forums using UTF8. The index and most of the ACP works fine, but any topics, profiles, or forums gives me a 404 error. If it matters, I upgraded from 3.4.7 to 4.0.6.1.

Hi guys struggling in a few areas with getting to grips with IPS4 so I thought I'd ask for help from my peers So far the issues I have are: Commerce: In the new system when we raise a support ticket via email there seems no way to send a copy of the ticket out via email to a list of email addresses. Have I missed something or has that facility been removed? Pages: In the old system system we had the option to promote posts to articles in IP.Content. Hi I notice that my forums, sometimes when I post a youtube video link, it become an embedded video on that topic. However it only works sometimes, and somtimes it's just a link. How can I make it always become an embedded video? It's really random. Is there a way to force a video being embedded?

I know about the change to the effect of pressing return - it now starts a new paragraph. OK. But why do I suddenly see so many posts with masses of white space at the end of them? It's as though the poster has hit return 10 or 20 times. It's possible, but I've not seen it before. Anyone else seeing this mass of blank lines? Like this.

Hello guys. I messed up in plesk with my folders. now old foldernames are in IPB 4. It says sometimes like restricted, no access etc... because folder names changed. where can you adjust the folders /paths ? What do i have to delete to clear cache ? couldnt find a "cache" folder. thanks for your help

I am trying to use the panel on V4 to upload and change the logo. I keep getting upload failed and have no idea why. I am new to this but the file is logo.png and its the exact size as the original there. I have used the skin burning sky and have edited the logo text using photoshop 12. is there a way I can find the file using an FTP cliet, as in the location and upload it directly ?? Thank you for any help anyone might give.
