Anyone else experience this when I create Announcement with font size and color it shows it in editor and in modcp but everywhere it displays on the forum it shows default color and size. This is how and showed in editor and when you view it in modcp This is how it shows on the forum every where it is displayed

Does anyone know if it's possible to prevent avatars from being imported from a URL? We want to avoid (as much as possible) users being able to get the server's IP. (I know some people disagree with methods like this, but we would still like to discontinue the ability to import avatars from external websites.) Thank you very much!

Has anyone made a block that streams Periscope? I have found 2 sites that have periscope videos embedded in them. While they might not be IPB sites it can be done. We plan on using Periscope as our main form of marketing our site and products. [Edit] I also found. node-periscope-stream (0.1.5) - Get details about a Periscope live stream peristream (0.1.7) - A wrapper around periscope.tv event streams, allowing you to easily access them.

Hello, I've just upgraded to v4 and now the mod i had which put on an Ajax "Thanks" button is gone. I see there is a reputation system which can be set to positive vote only - this could function the same as my thanks, however I have a few questions: 1) When i enable it i see a count in the bottom right of a post and it is grey and seems no way to click it... What am i doing wrong here? 2) Is there any way I can convert my thanks votes into these rep points? 3) Is there an actual thanks type plugin for v4?

It seems the Topic Feed widget is filtering some posts. I am not sure why. Same thing happens with default theme. These are my settings. Widget cache is set to 60 seconds. Show Forums: All. Widget got updated showing another topic, but missing the topic "Lustige Vids" Made some test posts there. Same result Even if I set the Forum Filter to "Public" it's missing Any Idea why it is filtering some topics?

Hello, I have IPS4 (4.1.8.1) running Pages database. It looks like all articles (or database entries) created by regular users are created locked by default, and can not be unlocked by the author. Is it possible to create new database entries unlocked by default, so authors can edit them later? Is there a specific setting for that? Thanks in advance PS: All permissions are set to enable Adding, Editing of entries and fields in Pages database.

Hello, I recently installed a new IPS board, version 4.1.5.2. I followed the steps described at https://community.invisionpower.com/4docs/administration/system/settings/login-handlers-r22/ to get the client ID and secret key to configure the Google Login. I have the client ID and secret key and Google+ API is enabled but if I paste the keys to the Google login configuration in IPS I get always an error like "Google rejected the details provided. Please check the details you provided have been entered correctly and try again." I don't know what I should do more or what I have to change? Maybe someone had the same experience? Thanks Tobias

Hi, Please note that we have upgraded our IPB forum from version 3.4.8 to version 4.1.8.1. After upgrading we find that there are issues with links, quotes, images and avatars. Issue with quotes: After upgrading of the forum we see that Quotes in the new forum are working properly. However the quotes which are from the previous version are facing an issue. I read somewhere that you can use Amazon S3 as file storage. I remember years ago my forum got full of images and it was a concern when hard drive on my server was getting full. What are the pros and cons of using Amazon S3 to store my uploads, is it slower to access images? I'm not worried about the cost of the S3, more the performance when members view the forums. I'm maybe missing something obvious here, but... I have a military history forum, and I have multiple groups based on army rank. They start as Private and work them selves up the ranks. I recently added a rank below Private, cadet, but new recruits are still starting in Private. How do I set the Cadet group as the starting point?

I am needing to add discount functionality to commerce, more than what is available right now. currently theres these 3 choices. Most of these 3 are self explanatory. 1st Usergroup: would apply a discount for the specific user for that item 2nd Previous Purchase: would be if they have purchased before you get a specific price for that item 3rd Sale Discount: allows you to discount 1 item after x amount are in your cart to $x.xx I am needing exactly like the Sales Discount section however it will discount the whole sale. Looking for some help from the community: I need to make a new version of the Topic Feed Forum Sidebar Block which only differs by showing the last poster's avatar and name as we have a lot more people that comment on posts than we do creating them, however I do prefer the one item per topic format of the Topic Feed. Hello together, my following question is related to the commerce topic. We want to switch to IPS. We are selling a product and want to use the commerce application to realize that. When we update our product it will result in a downtime. At the moment we use a different software and we need to add the downtime manually to the subscriptions. I am testing at the moment if it is possible to do it automatically with IPS4. My idea was to create a Block on the client site with an php code.
