hello ! i have ip.download feature installed with s3 amazon storage , all working good , but if i start to upload file more big than 40 or 50 mb i got all times same error timeout after 100000 second with 0 byte received someone know how to fix this error please ? thanks !

hay all im having major issues with the search and the activity stream on one of my sites . it wont let us create new activity streams it just spins . if you run a search and it brings up articles from pages it takes almost 5 min to complete and will not let you go to the second page . the site is on the latest software with a db converted from wordpress to pages . running about 13000 articles

Where are the custom blocks that a member can set for his own blog? Are these deleted during the upgrade to 4.0? The Admin can add block widgets, but they are global, and do not relate to the current blog. For example the "Recent Entries" widget shows recent entries for all blogs, not the one you're currently viewing. Blogs 4.0 has gotten severely gimped, it doesn't look like a blog at all - where's the archives, the post calendar, the recent comments (to the current blog), etc etc. Can anyone at IPS confirm that these are coming?

Hey, I've also submitted a ticket, but posting here incase anyone else has an idea of why It's not working. I just cleared my cache and now all of a sudden there's a problem with my license. I've entered it again, tried to refresh. Nothing. I've tried disabling my servers firewall completely but still nothing.

I know this has been asked out...but I'm apparently missing something when trying to work on external logins. I have a WordPress page, and I simply want it and IPS to share accounts (not necessarily login everyone at one). I believe I have everything configured appropriately in the ACP, the MySQL data, etc. Actually, I've verified that IPS is seeing the users in the WP table (WP and IPS share the same database). However, when the combination of username and password is supplied that has been given by WordPress (this is for a new user since the DB data's been shared), it indicates that the username and password is incorrect. Dear IPS Guys, Gals, I bought iAwards thinking it had a feature that I could set to auto award for certain things like Years spent on the board, post made, reputation, e.t.c. but after purchasing and downloading it has none of these features. and, it seems like it is all manual awarding by the admin.. How can I setup automatic awarding for certain things or is there even a mod for that? and, He talks about Rules and certain things in his mod post but I cannot really understand what he is talking about regarding that. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Just migrated to a new dedicated server, and I cannot make a new post on the forum. It seems I am running out of space on my server. I have almost 7GB of attachments. I just clicked save to database, now the site is unusable. I presume this will resolve as soon as the files are moved? Any idea how long this could take to move 7GB? Any way to speed it up? http://squarewheelscycling.com/

Hi there. Just a question regarding plugins. I have installed one which shows the online users. It is for IPB4 so it should work with my install. But I see no place to either put this into my theme, and it doesn't show up anyway at the bottom. I looked at the screenshots and it showed some form of block manager? However I cannot find this in my admincp at all. Any help would be great. Thanks.

Excuse me if this is the wrong place.. But, I used the search tool and found a lot of old threads describing this but nothing for the current version of IPB. How can I change the colors of usernames for certain groups.. in topic view and other places. Also, I was curious. How can I put characters like the + that IPB forums has.. Hey Boys and Girls i have a question regards the groups system in IP, when i post something on my Forum only my main group avatar shows and i want alle the groups im in to show but only the avatars from the groups "so like i have Support, and Moderator, and Admin" and my main group is Admin only the admin Avatar from the admin group shows, and i want the Avatar from the Support, Moderator and admin avatar to show hope thats Explains it otherwise let me know

I've noticed that AdSense banners break responsive themes. The normal small adverts work fine on mobile, but the banners stretch the screen too far. I've tested this not only on my site but an IPS 3 site, as well as on other phones besides my own, and even by zooming in on Google Chrome (depending on your screen size, at around 200% ish your browser will become like a mobile browser if the website you are on has a responsive design). Some examples of this breaking are: The banner stretches beyond the limit of the responsive theme, so the size of the page is adjusted. We are using IPB4 and would like to find members that keep changing IP addresses but within the same subnet. For example they will begin posting using 12.34.56.100, get banned, and then re-register using 12.34.56.200. My question is, how can we find all members using an IP wildcard search such as 12.34.56.*? Using 12.34.56.* as the search term does not appear to work.

We want to present all our members with a new board policy, that they need to agree with upon logging back in. Is there a way to present them with the new rules after a forum-wide forced log-out? I haven't been able to find something like that yet. Any pointers would be greatly appreciated.

When using the IPB4 demo board I noticed somewhere in the acp you could change what editor (for people making posts) and you could also add custom buttons to the editors tool bar. I've hunted all around the acp in my new IPB 4 install and cant find it? Any idea where it's hiding from me!? lol Thanks

Is there a way to make for members to display youtube videos in the gallery instead of uploading videos? So they could just enter the youtube link instead of choosing a file to upload? We don't really want videos uploaded to our server, and youtube, well, it just works. If it's possible, we'd also like it if it could be configured in the acp that for the video category that we would create, we could select url's only, so files could not be uploaded. Or maybe it could be done with the downloads app? Same thing as above, but members could only upload/enter a url, not a file

So the mad emoticon is now showing up on my chat and the emoji looks squished. Is anyone else experiencing this on their forum? As you can see by the attached image. All of the other emoticons seem fine. And for the record I haven't modified any of the default emoticons. And the emoticons seem to be working on forum threads, so is this a bug? or is there is a problem with my IP.Chat?
