I have just upgraded my forum to version 4.1.13.2. The process worked apparently fine, but after trying to upgraded version, I seem to have troubles to use a few menu options that I can't use. Particularly these two: This behavior seems to repeat in any kind of "scroll down" menus, such as the 'Moderation options' in the topics. Also, the little 'Manage Blocks' rectangle in the left side of the window is not working either. What I mean when I say 'not working' can mean two things, depending on the browser: Chrome: I click on them and nothing happens. The URL changes to whatever it was + #linkname, but nothing happens. Hi all I have set up some anti-fraud rules for Nexus using Maxmind. However they don't seem to be working and I wondered was there a specific order they had to be in to work? These are my current rules: However when I attempt a test purchase using a billing address considerably different from my own, the payment gets accepted without a problem. I can see the transaction in Maxmind and it looks like it should have been held for approval, but wasn't: I'm presuming I did something wrong somewhere?

I know it is possible to do a topic/post search between two date ranges but that requires you to have a search term. If I just wanted to see all posts on a certain day or during a specific week is there a way to do that?

Hi, we sent in a trouble report to get an issue sorted out but IPB informed us they no longer support this version of software we are using, 3.3.2. I'm hoping someone might be able to give me some information, or direct me as to where I can find information on how to fix a problem we recently came across. Rarely have we had problems with this version of software so we've kept it. The problem that popped up 4 days ago, when members on the forum click on the Special BBC code icon and use Media to embed video's on a post, it is no longer working. I just upgraded to 4. Can I simply go into the "Logo" part of the css and change this: <img src="{$logo}" to reflect something like this: img src="/images/logo4.gif"?? Also, I have had a repeating image on both sides of my banner logo. Can someone tell me how to make that happen? Thank you!

Can someone tell me what the purpose of the highlighting replies serves? I checked it in the admin panel, members and I see some text blocks highlighted, but we can't figure out the rhyme or reason. I cannot seem to find the answer to this in the guides. Thanks!

Morning all! We've just upgraded to the 250 user chat, and are currently letting our mods run amok with it. The issue that a few of us kicked around a few hours ago is the potential for attacks to be launched through the chat feature. This is, unfortunately, something we have to worry about, as our community is regularly targeted for that sort of thing. The first issue is chat flooding. There don't seem to be any controls in place to prevent it or set limits. One of our mods deliberately flooded the chat yesterday afternoon to see what it would let her get away with, and we found that she apparently could have gone on forever. I want to test IPS REST API, but I find myself in strange loop. I go to System > REST API and: 1. I can only download .htaccess file. I put it in the right place. 2. API fails and gives me NO_API_KEY error in logs. 3. Sure, I don't have API key, because all I can do is downloading .htaccess, which won't work without API key. I'm not able to "Create new" key like is described here. So, how and where can I generate my API key?

Is there a way to replace the stars icon on a new/old post on 4.1? I have a theme by ips focus and everytime I try to change the icon to something else, it doesn't go. Even if I stick with a font awesome icon, it won't remove the stars. Any help would be much appreciated.

Hey, IPS Community, Pretty much I've been spending lots of time figuring this out but, unforrunately nothing came through. So the issue is, I can get the Group Glow/customization working but cannot get my name (displayname) to correspond with group color. Good morning! Just a quick question this time around from someone who just upgraded to 4.x last week. Every now and again, we see double bars in our browser tab (attached below) next to the favicon on our forum directory. If someone could let me know what those are for, I'd greatly appreciate it. I'm guessing it has something to do with there being new topics or posts since we last looked at that browser tab, but I'd like to know for sure. Thanks!

Hi The Theme system only gives you 6 Areas to place custom blocks. As far as I could find out it is not possible to add extra block areas. Unfortunatley for my frontpage theme I would need more. Is there a way to make a block stay next to each other in the footer area using the vertical theme instead of the horizontal theme? Essential I want 3 Blocks next to each other in the footer area?

I am wondering is there a setting somewhere that makes it so that users who have read a thread and then go and visit it because there was a reply gets taken to the last message they read or to the newest message in the thread. Like kind of remembering where they last read too. It only take me to the top of threads no mater if I have read it or not.

Hi guys - hopefully this is a quick answer, however I've not found it in search simply because so many people complain about statistics in general....I don't want to weigh in on that.... So anyway. I have a block which I am using to push code onto a page encouraging registration. "Register now, you will be member X" where X is member {number="$stats['member_count']"} plus one. The thing is, that only seems to work in a block set up for member statistics, which this one is not. Can that value be pulled independently?

So here is the steps- maybe someone can reproduce? Use default icons no uploaded files - everything is fine Upload "testbackground.png" @ 50B, unread/read icons and save - everything is fine Delete uploaded icons and save - everything is fine Go back to the forum icons to tweak something, 0B images are there, click delete and save - breaks icons (breaks them even if you don't delete them again) Go back to forum icons a second time and delete the 0B images and save - everything is fine but spits out a 404 error on the image when inspecting page *And they never delete, if I upload a new icon and then delete it, it produces the same result of 0B placeholder…

The option for internal links to embed (ie posting a link to a gallery or download file in a forum post) has stopped working on my site. I just get a normal txt link without the embed and option to display as link instead. acp > system > posting > automatically embed links? ... Is turned on, so are there any other setting that control this that might have been turned off please?

So I'm just styling my board and I came across some weird styling. As you can see the first forum description is correct. It's a light grey but for some reason IPS is styling the second forum description darker. It's generating some inline styling via javascript. How do I over-write that?

When users use the "report" function on the forum, the admin gets sent an email notification. But I don't see where this email address is set in the settings. Can someone please tell me how to change that email? It seems different from the main admin email.
