* I searched for a resolution to this and only found one Topic that was never followed up on or resolved. My apologies if I missed something, Since my daughter got an iPhone 15 all the photos she texts me will only upload and post as black on my Board. (I typically save those photos to my iPhone 7 photo gallery and access them from there.) They upload but appear as black boxes as the thumbnail and when posted. It’s only her iPhone. Photos taken with her iPad and her husbands IPhone 14 upload and post fine. I had her email me photos from her iPhone to my business email and my gmail account. As we tried our updates to v4.7.15 we got some errors with the database and that there are 'some' fixes required. And while trying to do the fixes with the web gui it broke our complete forum. Lesson learned, I will take my time for the updates, but now with the update v4.7.16 it seems like urgent to do the update and we still have the issue with the database and even with manually adding the mysql statements it seems not to fix the problem, as the messages are the same even if I do some of the queries. Hi, I think this guide is outdated as the OEmbed product no longer exists and is replaced OEmbed Read: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/features-reference/oembed-read/ I've set up the community with the App ID and App Secret yet still cannot get instagram embeds to show up. Do I need to submit the app for App Review? Even though I only just want standard access and it says "Ready to use" with standard access? Can someone help me figure out how to get this? Thanks!

When a poll allows for multiple answers, the percentage are tallied as a percent of answers, when they should be tallied a a percent of voters? For example below, 53 voters out of 69 have selected the 2nd answer, that should be 76.81% and not 22.94%?

I've been trying to post an image that readers can click and go to another site. I've tried several different ways and either the link doesn't work, or the image doesn't appear. First, can clickable images be posted on Invision sites and second, if they can be posted, HOW!? Keep in mind, I have absolutely NO idea what I'm doing and, if anyone chooses to help, I need it explained in the simplest way possible - LITERALLY the simplest, step-by-step instructions that even a small primate with a cognitive defect AND a traumatic brain injury would understand. ANY help will be greatly appreciated.

I have a plugin that was purchased from the marketplace and the dev will not respond to repeated requests for the file since the marketplace closed. Question...is there a way to download the files from my server (hooka folder, index.hml and settings.php) for the plugin and make it into an xml that will work like the original xml file did? Thanks

I applied the latest patch yesterday, and since doing this I am seeing repeated errors in my logs. The timing could be coincidence. Today there are ~100 entries do far today. I have a Pages database. It uses star rating (not reviews!). I have set sorting by rating in descending order: The sorting is weird, though: Item with 15x5 stars and 1x1 star. Item with 17x5 stars only. Item with 25x5 stars and 3x1 star. Item with 23x5 stars only. Item with 6x5 stars and 1x1 star. Item with 16x5 stars and 1x6 stars. Item with 7x7 stars and 7x7 stars. Does it make sense? Obviously, the item #4 should be placed at the very top, following by item #2. Should it not be sorted by average as total rating divided by number of votes? Or what is meant with Sort by Rating?

My forum is getting emails bounced by "Mailchannels" whenever someone is following a topic and I of course get notified by my server host that has occurred. This was happening with 4.7.2.1 and now with 4.7.16 Here is their support response as to why that is happening Is there any way I can correct this myself? Where would I enter a message ID and what ID number would that be? Thanks

Hi Team I went to upgrade the website from 4.7.16 but the update failed through the AdminCP and it wants me to update via a manual download which i have never done via FTP. As teh update failed, the Website is down and i am stuck on the manual upgrade option when i log into the AdminCp. Is there a way to cancel the upgrade so i can get the website back up until i work out how to do it manually?

When I try returning to the first page of the topics list, I am redirected back to origin page (with an appended '?'). Selecting any other page works correctly, this occurs in all forums (that I've tried), and within the default theme too. Examples: /#-forum-name/page/4/ => /#-forum-name/ => /#-forum-name/page/4/? /#-forum-name/page/4/ => /#-forum-name/page/2/ /#-forum-name/ => /#-forum-name/page/4/

Hey there, I recently upgraded my community from an ancient 4.3 to the latest 4.7.16. Upgrade mostly went smoothly, with one exception: specifically, we're now unable to upload profile photos to S3 (this previously worked pre-upgrade). Other uploads work: image attachments to posts and cover photos work just fine and upload without issue. It's specifically profile photos that seem to have an issue. I've attempted to upload multiple gif, png and jpg images with essentially the same result: select a photo, it seems to get uploaded to the S3 bucket under monthly_YYYY_MM, but then upon pressing Continue the POST to /profile/<id>-<username>/photo/?ajaxValidate…

I just updated my test forum and my live forum to 4.7.16. The test forum shows no compatibility problems at all but on my live forum it shows one app has a compatibility problem with PHP 8.1 which I am running. both forums are identical so kind of confusing. The app in question is working fine on both forums, so the question is...what happens if I click the "Fix It" button? Thanks
