Huge thanks to Nathan Explosion for this simple, lightweight plug-in. I let it run for a few weeks since installing and its stopped my perpetual stalking spammers 100%.

This is a great way to stop repeat spammers from emailing you via your IPS contact form. If you have someone who spams you regularly (even just once) via the contact form, add them to your IPS ban filters and relax, you've prevented them from signing up and spamming you at the same time.

Why IPS never adopted this suggestion I don't know (once again, hang your heads in shame!), but its simple, it works great for me and so I thank Nathan for answering the call to arms. Recommended.

Response from the author:

Thanks for that mate. And just think....that spammer is oblivious to the fact.

This is a must have and should be built into IPS. If you are using the contact us feature, install this to prevent spam.

This is just a game changer, i stopped reading my "contact us" mails because it was 99% spam, now i have almost no spam and those going through are banned easily.

This is definitely a must have !
