This plugin works correctly on my site. I have made it available for other sites to use, but I will not provide support by default. If you are having issues that you're unable to resolve on your own, or would like to request additional features, please reach out to me via PM on the IPS Community site, where a notional fee will be payable for any changes.

It works, but the key phrases were added directly in JS and cannot be translated. There are no settings to regulate the number of lines.

I also think the code was copied from linustechtips.com... 

The plugin could be written much better. I recommend using ips.ui.truncate

The plugin was developed for linustechtips.com, but has been made available here (with no modifications to work better on the marketplace) so that other sites may use it. I would be willing to make it translatable or to make the number of lines customizable if someone would like to fund it, under the terms set out in the Additional Information.

ips.ui.truncate was deliberately not used because it doesn't offer all of the functionality required for this plugin, in particular being able to collapse the signature after expanding it, and there are a number of bugs with IPS's implementation, particularly with respect to spoilers and images, that are addressed in my implementation.
