30.Oct 2020 - update:

I've updated this review on the basis of the comment below by the developer who responded very quickly  with the information that the plug-in will share the link of whichever page you happen to be on which means that contrary to my first impression, you can send topic related   messages to social media.

As a result of that I've added a star and made it three stars.

However, the icons still hover over the underlying page and are quite obtrusive. If that could be dealt with and the icons  be embedded in the underlying page and in the relevant posts then it would be super.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

It's a great idea but frankly I think it still needs a lot of developing.

Maybe I didn't look carefully enough but I imagined that the social media icons would appear at the bottom of each post and that somebody could click one off and send information on that particular post or that particular topic to their social media accounts and spread the word about their story or about the advice that we were giving.

In fact that's not what happens at all. certainly as far as I've been able to discover, the social media icons appear on the face of the forum either on the left-hand side or the right hand side or in the centre and the real problem is that they overlap anything that's underneath rather than finding their own space and not obscuring anything.  This is already a particular disadvantage.

The other thing that seems to happen is that they only are able to send information about the particular forum or website but not topic-related.

So if I'm right and maybe the developer will be able to come on and show that I am not, then as far as I am concerned, the plug-in has two serious shortcomings and that is firstly it can't be used in a subject-related  way to disseminate information about a particular event or discussion that is going on and secondly, that the way the icons are presented obscure underlying parts of the forum and it's very distracting and very unhelpful.

Maybe that is the way the developer intended it to be and it needs no further development but certainly as far as I'm concerned, I have a sense that we are not going to have a lot of use for it in its present form.

if these issues could be addressed then it could easily be a 4-star or 5-star plug-in

Response from the author:

Hello,
Thanks for your purchase.
You can share the link of the current page, which can be a topic or anything else. This plugin actually shares the URL of the page you are on.
for example :

test2.png.943b004632b21b7f04c77441a13673a4.png

And this is what is shared:

About the overlap problem if you can send a screenshot so we can solve the problem in the shortest time
