This resource uses The Movie Database API to grab data from Movies/TV Shows to your site.

All you have to do is type a word from the movie/tv show title and then a list of matches will show up. From now on, with just a click, you will have in the submission form:

  • Title
  • Subtitle, if available
  • Description
  • Poster
  • Status
  • Release Date (for Movies)
  • Genres
  • Language
  • Hompeage
  • IMDB link
  • Budget
  • Revenue
  • Running Time for movies or Episode Time for TV shows
  • Season (for TV Show)
  • Number of episodes (for TV Show)

Tabs:

You will also have tabs to display:

  • Cast (with a link to a popup listing all their data)
  • Crew (with a link to a popup listing all their data)
  • Trailers (with videos from Youtube)
  • Latest Reviews on TMDB
  • Similar Movies or Similar TV Shows (will list all similar movies/tv shows and again with a click, you can have them in yuour database)

All the tabs, except Information (the main one with the movie/tv show description), can be disabled via setting.

TMDB API Key:

Multi Language:

  • TMDB supports 62 languages. You just have to choose the one in the ACP setting.

Other features:

  • Fully integrated to the framework: Rest API, categories, extra fields, notifications, search, tags, follow, reactions, promote, etc.

Settings:

  • Settings to control the app behaviour in several places/situations.

  • Rework in Extra fields:
    • Now you can place your fields in Groups, just like Profile Files
      • All existing fields are placed in a General group when upgrading to this version
    • Removed the (per extra field) option to display it on movie sidebar or below description
    • Added a setting to choose extra fields position:
      • New tab beside Information tab
      • Below movie/TV show description

  • Script optimization to avoid conflict with Videos app (group cache)

Another great addon from @Adriano Faria. You can populate a full of content Media library in some hours. Just start entering the title and with the help of auto-suggest you'll find it. Just click "Add to TV Show" and that's all (if you can't see the button, this means that you already have it!!). After that simple procedure you will have eight (8!!) pages (tabs) full of information. Incredible!! Superior!! In less that 2 hours I had already 70 TV Shows in my Library.

As for the Support quality? Great again. But this is something that I already knew, as I've many of his modules. The only suggestion is: Please add Persons in addition to TV Shows and Movies.

Excellent app that finally enabled me to set up a Movie Review section on my forum. This app, with the assistance of TMDB pulls most of the data in, and with the incredible help from @Jimi Wikman who helped me style the app on my forum, everything is set up and looks amazing. This wouldn't of been possible if Adriano did not make this incredible app in the first place.

Great app to produce a movie site that you can share with others - excellent speed, good information, loads of cast, crew photos, posters and images. What's not to like?  If movies is your forte, then this is the app for you.  It just keeps getting better and better with each update 🙂

It runs like hell and during minutes you have your own movie archive on Board. Great support so far and open for suggestions.

No, this app hasn't any movie viewer. You can view trailers and teasers in the proper tab.
