Dark mode button for default theme 1.0.41

Excellent plugin! It is a much-needed feature. I think IPS should implement this as a feature on the default theme.

I wish the plugin would allow the toggle button on other locations instead of text. I think the current toggle location is a bit odd.

It would be great if I could translate the text as I run a bilingual forum. By the way, the "darkmode_whocansee" keeps reverting to Administrators after saving.

Anyway, awesome plugin! It's a must-have for sure! 🙂

Mark is a great guy, helped me with a lot of stuff and made my community super nice and he is still wiling to help no matter how much I bother him. Hopefully he doesnt go insane by my requests. 😁

Can I get a copy of the css to get rid of the flashing white screen on page loads? I saw you mention the page load can be helped by adding a css loading transition to the page load

Purchased but cannot use as it changes the original light theme colours of the user bar and background and several other colours. Is there anyway to keep our original theme original and still use this?

Just one minor point: it installs only for the default theme. This also means that switching to a different theme for deafult requires uninstalling and reinstalling it.

Would it be possible to add a theme selector as well, other than the member group selector, in order to make it possible to use with other themes too?

Could you add a permission based setting? I would like to enable/disable plugin for specific groups.

Also, could you add an option to disable preload on default theme (so it would only work on dark theme)?

When enabling this plugin, even tho its "light aka original mode" a few of these turned black. Pretty annoying.

Also originally the links are "blueish".

When enabling this, they all turn black...

How do you fix this? To make original just original.

The App does exactly what it is intended to do. So that's nice!
I just wonder if we can edit the Front End Colors on the Dark Mode?
Because some of our Custom Apps don't really work with the color scheme.

Excellent Mod! I too have been waiting for something like this.  I've installed it and it has been working fine, with one issue.  Every time I switch to a different page, it seems to initially, for a split second switch to the light theme before the dark takes over.  Do you think this could be a caching issue or something else?

Edit:  It is only an issue on desktop with both Chrome and Edge, works fine on mobile Safari and Chrome.
