This is a very simple plugin to remove empty <p> tags in forums posts, blog entries and downloads pages, it'll convert posts look to compact view.

To empty lines in databases records:

Could contain: File, Menu, Text, Metropolis, Building, Urban, City, Town, Webpage

 

Replace this line: 

<section class="ipsType_richText ipsContained ipsType_normal" data-controller='core.front.core.lightboxedImages'>{$record->_content|raw}</section>

By: 

<section class="ipsType_richText ipsContained ipsType_normal" data-controller='core.front.core.lightboxedImages,plugins.postsTrimmer'>{$record->_content|raw}</section>

This fixed an issue with certain mobile browsers leaving extra blank lines in posts. It's a simple plugin that makes a big difference. Thanks.

A simple task that is however vital to enhance the viewing pleasure of your readers. This minimalist plug-in does the job perfectly. Thank you SO much for sharing it with us.
