Chatbox+ 2.7.7

Not only is this application awesome, its developer consistently implements feature suggestions that makes it fit perfectly with my community. This includes adding things such as: reportable messages, the ability for chatrooms to match the community theme, preventing users who need to acknowledge a warning from chatting, and many more. I have never worked with a more responsive developer.  The application itself? Works flawlessly just as you would expect. I highly recommend it.

Very complete chat app for your community:

• easy to configure (although it has a large number of features and customization options)
• very stable (even what's announced as "in beta testing") - no bug or crash in 1 month of intense usage
• floating popup: all your public and private conversations follow you when you're browsing the site
• 1-to-1 floating chat: users love it!!
• club chats are a great working tool for communities which use clubs
• the online list makes everyone more trustful and comfortable to chat in rooms
• works as fine on mobile devices and desktop
• very reasonable price!

I have been a happy user of the Chatbox Free for two years, which is a already a very good app (especially considering it is free). At the time, I discussed a couple features I wished could be added but the (nice and reactive) developer had no plan to invest worktime on it, which is totally legit. I'm glad he changed his mind! This new version has 99% of the features I dreamt of, for a very competitive price.

It would be nice if club chats could be added in the "rooms" tab of the global (popup) chat, and/or if the floating popup could stay even when on a full page chatroom (but I understand there are technical difficulties for this one.) Very minor flaw compared to all it brings!

Don't wait to add this great app to your community, it is 200% worth the price! And many thanks to @onlyME for his great job!

Works perfectly and the admin settings give you so much control over your chat. In addition to that support for minor changes has been amazing!

Very easy app on the planet I have ever seen. Back to the early day where I often joint to the conversation in vietfun.com there are thousand of people joint to that chatroom all day but that chatroom is very fancy no sound, no nothing and I wish one day in the future I will be own the chatroom like this app for my site. Thanks for your effort time to give that wonderful app to our community.

After using the free version for awhile then deciding to upgrade to the full version I'm very pleased with what I got. This app is full of features making it very versatile for communities.

If you are still considering whether or not it's worth upgrading to, it definitely is! Dev is very responsive and does quality work.

We'd been trying to find worthwhile chat software since Flashchat went away years ago. This is it!

Been a long time fan of Chatbox FREE and decided to go for the upgrade. Installation and setup is very intuitive and easy, learning what everything does took me a moment, but overall I'd say it's very well set up to be used without a manual. Overally, very positively surprised by all of the features and the simplicity of use - well done!

I happened to find a bug with the cookie that remembers whether or not your user chat was minimized or not and the author responded immediately and within 5 hours confirmed the bug and that it will be fixed. Amazing support - thank you!

Great & fast support via PN! Had a technical and a styling question and they were answered promptly.

Above and Beyond Support for my custom theme, Chatbox+ is a much needed improvement to the old chatbox, new instant messaging feature is a good option to add for premium users to generate some funds too 

Good application. Could you add an archive for old messages where the admin can set a timit limit on how old messages the archive has. Also permissions so that you can decide who can see the old discussions in the archive. The thumbnail size of pictures could be defined by admin. There should also be an option to not allow users to see the old messages of other people from their user profiles.

If you are looking for a chat app, this is the one to get. It is better than The Jackal's app in every way possible. It just works like it should and my members are very happy to have something good in place. I literally disabled The Jackal's app and went without chat for a while before finding this one.

There is a big problem, the private messages plugin causes a continuous page refresh when registering a new account. Sorry, you can't create an account.
I also recommend that you add the option "private conversations only for friends" to prevent spam being sent to everyone. For users to write with each other they must be in friends.
If the user has a long login and I send a message to us, his login comes out the window. I recommend doing (Testers on The ... (1))

Best looking chat application on the marketplace what more do you need! Our members love the popup chat, another option to hide it from desktop view rather than mobile view would be good because we currently use it as a block on desktop view. The ability to add chat rooms as a group feature is a must have for any IPS community this is money well spent!

Now we have access to both a free copy with limit features and a premium copy with ton of extra's. For long while members wanted more features to the current chatbox, well the wait is over and many features are being built into this app. You can't go wrong with this app over all.  This app gives a list of rooms, how many people are in the rooms. You can give the rooms a real chat room feel or a chat box feel. 

This is a must have application. Thank you @onlyME for this work.

I only have one question. The title and the cartridge  (surrounded by a red line in the picture below) are too big.

How can I modify them ? I want them smaller.

Additionally, it will be perfect if it was possible to hide this application when we are with a mobile.

Love it! However one suggestion. Maybe add a bar at the bottom of the page, where people can open the chat anywhere they are when browsing the forum. Like a popup chat. Sort of like Facebook. That would put this plugin to the top 100%.
