We've had this plug-in installed since we converted from vBulletin to Invision. We had an equivalent in vBulletin for over 10 years.

We use it as an auto tweeter. Every new topic/thread which is started on the forum is automatically tweeted out together with the first few lines and a link to the topic.

It's absolutely excellent. We have a Twitter following of about 7000 or 8000 people including journalists and interest groups who follow us to see what is trending in the world of consumer problems and we often get contacts as a result.

You can configure which forums or sub- forums send out the tweets – so for instance we have some RSS/media forums which are automatically receiving material and there is so much we don't want to burden people by sending out 30 or 40 or more tweets per day simply for those items.

Also, of course, you can configure your private forums not to send out tweets as well.

It could do with a little more work on the backend to make it easier to configure but the utility/value of this is five stars and much more. Not only that, the developer seems to be very supportive and interested in what is happening.

It's a great plug-in and very good value for what it does.
