Website Footer
With this application you can add up to six different content blocks, social media Icons and customize background and foreground colours.
I'm sorry, but due to the amount of time and work on this application, I have decided charge a small fee. My apologies regarding this.

Released
v1.02
The previous version has some serious flaws which only came to light after it was released. It was apparent that this plugin needed a lot more work to be released to the public, so I have re-written a lot of the code with this in mind.
PLEASE NOTE: Due to the changes in the new version you will be required to uninstall the previous version first before installing the new one. This is due to the changes in this plugin your previous settings will not be kept and will be removed.
My apologies about that 😞
Main changes and fixes:
- Fixed: Blocks would revert to the default values if they were empty on save. IPS settings will revert to their default values if there are empty text or text-area strings,
- Changed: Re-wrote most of the CSS styles for validation, renamed CSS styles and fixed some CSS issues,
- Changed: Fixed a few issues with the HTML template,
- Changed: The default Footer colours now match the colours of the default theme,
- Added: The Footer theme colours can be set to use the default colours of the installed theme (Best match job),
- Added: Can now turn off blocks via the Plugin Settings regardless of whether of not the blocks have content,
- Added: The Footer can be set to span full width or fluid width (same with as ipsLayout_container),
- Added: Turn off the Footer completely for Mobile and Tablets,
- Added: The bottom block can be set to display on mobile/tablet devices like the other blocks.
- Added: The social Block can be displayed either on the left or right of the footer,
- Added/Fixed: If your forum is set to cache for guests, the theme colour changes wouldn't take affect right away. The plugin will clear the Cache on save to make changes display instantly.
v1.03
Updated for IPS v4.4.2
v1.03.1
Fixed a bug which would incorrectly display the YouTube social Media link.
v1.04
Changes And Fixes:
- Removed: Removed the opacity overlay on the Logo image as this would sometimes cause the image to look wrong.
- Changed: The Logo image will not be resized on upload and will keep its original width and height.
- Changed: Removed the forced width and height which was 135px. The Logo image width and height will be displayed at its original height and width or auto sized to the width of the footer block container.
- Added: The Logo image forced width settings. You can now force the width of the image logo to a size of your choosing (max 500px). The height will automatically be calculated to keep the original image perspective.
- Added: Add IPS Lazy Load loading code for the Logo Image.
v1.05
Changes And Fixes:
- Fixed: The bottom advertisement block would display below the Website Footer, this advert block will now display above the footer as expected.
- Changed: The "Block Settings" tab has changed its order within the form tabs to be the default tab (Settings tab was the previous default tab). This was due to the fact that the "Block Settings" tab is most likely to be the most used when editing the Plug-in settings.
-
Added: Block Type Select Option: There are now three different "Block Types". This is to reflect the different types of content which can be used.
- WYSIWYG
- HTML
- Pages
- Changed: The original Text Editor (Text Box) has been changed to a WYSIWYG Editor (The Default Editor for IPS). This is to allow easy editing of a block content without the need to know HTML.
- Added: CodeMirror Editor. The CodeMirror box will allow adding HTML code with coding styles rather than just as plain text.
- Added: Pages Blocks. You can now add a Pages (CMS) Block by adding the Pages Block template key. So anything that you can dream up using Pages Blocks can be added to the Footer. Please be aware, the Pages Block styling my clash with your footer, so you may have to change the Pages Block Styling to match your Footer stying.
- Changed: Display This Block options. When de-toggling the 'Display This Block' option within the plugin form, this will hide the other options for this block, this is to keep the form clutter down to a minimum.
I would suggest that you back up your data for this plug-in before updating to this version. Just in case. 🙂
