About This File

If you have Google Adsense adverts on your forum, then you will know how fussy they are about where you place their adverts.

This plugin will automatically try removing Ads from pages or area's where Google might not want their adverts displayed. For example this plugin will automatically remove adverts:

  1. When the site is off-line,
  2. On specific Core Pages: Settings, Notifications, Attachments, Followed Members, Messenger, ModCP, Ignore Members, Support, Register Page, Login Page and Member Profiles,
  3. Most Pages where there might be a Edit/Add/Modify/Submit/Create form,
  4. On the Commerce Pages for Clients and Support,
  5. On the Discovery and Stream Pages,
  6. Any Forum which is selected in the plugin Settings. This could be for forums that you would not want Google poking around in,
  7. You can also add Pages to the ignore list via the plugin settings.

You can select to display Ads on the Staff Directory, On-line Users and Leaderboard Pages.

At the moment this plugin has been tested on Forums, Pages and Nexus and may not work 100% of the time. If that is the case then use the Disable URL option within the settings.

Yes, this plugin is free and you're welcome 😉

What's New in Version 1.0.2   See changelog

Fixed a few issues which would prevent adverts from being displayed correctly within the forums. *Thank you Sonya.

Works with IPS 4.4.2

This will be the last version of this plug-in, as I will be moving this functionality to a new Application with more features.

Works quite well with V4.4.9.1 : google AdSense has approved the incriminated login page as respecting their rules.
Thankyou very much to the author of this very useful plug-in !

Worked like a charm - saved me a bunch of head scratching.

Had an AdSense policy violation for an ad on the login page - now fixed.

Download, install, add the url in question, done in less than 2 mins.

Thank you. Very much needed.

Thank you again.

ps - If you ever get time to add something to this... 😉.     Consider the ability to block everything in a particular club

I can block certain pages in a club but not the entire club yet... something about how the topic URLs are structured I think.
