Minimum/Maximum Characters/Words in Posts 1.0.2

   (2 reviews)

5 Screenshots

This plugin will add a minimum and/or maximum limit of characters and/or words in posts for individual forums. This can come in handy to prevent those annoying short posts/topics, like thnx etc or extremely long posts.

To set the minimum/maximum of characters and/or words, go to the forum in question and enter the amount of characters and/or words under the Minimum/Maximum Characters/Words. At the plugin 's setting you can exclude a group or groups from this restriction.

We already reviewed this plugin, but the review is no more visible (don't know why).
Anyway, the plugin does not work on our platform.

True, we can't provide access to our forum or ftp, and that's on us; our problem, the creator can't do much for this.

But every other support requested in private form have always the same response: extra payment or others. We already (and rightly) spent money for the plugin, and even an extra for adding the limit to Topics too (first post).

We asked the creator support the first time: he said that may one of the plugins that we have installed may interfere and causing conflicts. For that, he would have to recode a good portion of the plugin and that would take some time and it falls under extras. But he wanted to charge not money for it, but 15 posts/topics at his forum (?). We obviusly rejected.

Then we asked a TeamViewer session to find this problem on ftp: he rejected.

At the end, on the third request for support, Faqole says that he can try to istall the complete list of plugins and apps that we have at his test forum and work there. But this will cost another extra, 25 euro. We rejected.

End of story.

This is working fine on my board and regardless of the what people say in the support topic the author was quick to respond.
