🔥 FLine - High quality theme 2.8.0 - 4.5.1

This theme worked great, had a minor bug but found it was one sided issue, so I was able to fix it on my end.

The theme looks and works amazingly, even customizing it was easy!

If you're looking for theme that works for its money, this is the one.

This is the most beautiful layout available in the marketplace. My forum was great, clean and fast.

I am looking forward to the update with fixed header and light color.

One of the best themes I've used, very easy to customize to whatever your needs are, color and font choices work well together and even those are easy to change. The few fixes due to IPB updates are fixed very quickly and professionally, they are always happy to listen to ideas for more features or changes. 

Not sure why others are reporting bad service, I have had nothing but a great experience.

Very friendly dev. Asked to add a custom icon since I'm not on Twitch or YouTube for my stream site, and he will accommodate. 

This is a decent theme, I believe its design style to be better than _most_ of what you will see on the market. I've used a couple of the Veilon themes, mainly for the attractive slider for articles and the sleek overall style. With that said there are some pit-falls to these themes. They are not 100% functional nor user friendly (maybe like 90%). Even though this theme is advertised to be able to easily change colors that is not the case, you will need to manually tweak quite a bit of css. As well as some template elements have been forgotten like the promote to social media stuff that was new in ipb 4.2 and you'll need to fix the article slider to look good and be functional. So those looking for plug and play beware!

But if you're like me and fixing the product to your specification would happen anyways, this theme is a very good base. Editing the css is easy in the custom.css file that won't get deleted when you do a theme update. The trickiest thing to figure out was combing through the template to find the article slider and add some classes that allowed me to force images to keep their aspect ratio and look good when either pinned or not, as well as be fluid/responsive and shrink down if the browser was small. One thing to note, I ditched the included template for the articles list page and the article content itself. It was too annoying trying to keep consistency between them all in terms of template/css tweaking and image aspect ratio, so I'm using SuperGrid which works beautifully with this theme. I'll attach some images to more or less show there is still hope for making your articles look good on the front, in the middle, and in the end where the article is.

Also, if anyone is annoyed by a gray box that blows itself up all over the articles when you shrink the resolution hiding the article images it has something to do with the header widget (where you would normally put announcements, guest sign up block, chatbox) I chose just to hide the articles when the resolution gets to the size where that happens. I found the articles were WAY more annoying to scroll past on more mobile versions of the site, so it works out.

There may be a lot of little things to fix and tweak but you would find that with any theme on the marketplace. And unless you have no idea when it comes to css, this theme shouldn't intimidate you.

Earlier I had issues with the theme. It was not usable and I didn't get a response from the support team, which is why I rated it 1/5. 

The support team contacted my and helped fix the issues. I wish they could've answered and told me they were busy instead of not saying a anything. Communication is key and that is what support is for. The theme itself is great. It has a modern-like feel. Actually the only thing that could prevent someone from liking this theme, is the colors, which they promised to fix. The slide system is good. It also gives you the option for a guest slide. Which some communities can't live without. The footer does its job. It's perfect for me. So I rated it 5/5. 

I have to agree with everything MysticStyle stated.

I fell in love with this theme. Absolutely loved it. And I used it until the 4.3 upgrade. Why? Because it does not work, but I am certain someday they will get it in sync. 

Support. I have experienced the same thing. No response, vague response, or a blow off. Now I may expect that from something free I guess, but I paid $30.  And as mystic stated, "Have a backup theme". Thankfully I did which is what I am using now.   

It is sad, because such an awesome looking theme is so plagued with bugs and lack of decent support, I will not be using this theme again. The creator stated something that he is busy with school or something and is sorry. Well I am busy too. Yet, I honor my commitments, especially when people paid me to do so. 

I gave a one star because to me, timely support is everything. The most beautiful theme in the world is worthless to me if it does not work or do what I need it to do. And having to beg for support and then getting little or no support,  except promises, well zero stars was not an option.

4/28 Further thoughts. I realize that I may have been hard on the rating. For the theme design I totally rate it a 5, because as I said I love the theme. I am certain they will get it all worked out at some point. But I still agree that it is always good to have a backup theme anyway. That is just a smart thing to do. . So therefore, in good conscious, I have to raise my rating to a three anyway because the theme design is awesome.

This is one of the nicest templates I have used for my community forums, really appreciate all the work these guys put into this stuf. This is now the 4th theme I have purchased through him. Check out his work!

The theme looks good.   But as far as being able to simply go into the theme and change color schemes has turned out to not be the case at all.  I have had to manually edit the CSS on multiple occasions for things that should have been updated via the ACP.   Even now, one NavMenu will work with the colors I chose, the other option will not.  

Outside of that the theme looks really sharp and clean.  Wish I could give it a higher star rating, but based on my experience it hasn't been as "easy to use" as advertised. 

Very sharp and professional theme plus the customization allowed in the admincp is very extensive.  Additionally, support was very quick to answer my (n00bish) questions about a few particulars.

I love this theme. This is so customizable. The only issue with the new version I can't upload it to my site. I select the newest version and I try to click upload. It doesn't work.

Doesn't work if you don't have Forums app installed 😞

after select the XML FLine file for installing the theme, i receive this error 

The file must be smaller than 2MB.

and the installation don't proceed, how i can install the theme? thanks
