Discord Integration 1.1.0 Beta 4

Giving this a 3star rating, only because it worked on my previous ipb version. With the new version, it is not working and therefore been a waste of renewal. It's too bad that the developer does not care about this application anymore. I would have continued to support him.
 

I'll be generous enough to give 2 stars. It is a decent plugin and serves great needs to my forum, but asked for at a huge premium ($60 at a $30 renewal). Paying for this felt horrible, and remains a bit of a burden on my wallet. And the fact that there hasn't been an update in over a year is pretty bad. 

This doesn't work. Don't pay 60 USD please.

Considering the price, I have become very disappointed in this application. When it worked, it was great. However, since it is not compatible with 4.3, I have had to stop using it. I feel I wasted $60.

Sadly, I have to rate this 1 star, for now.

It sounds like an exciting plugin, but since the price increase and the removal of the free version, for "better quality and support purposes" (or something like that)... no more updates. A so-called new version rewritten from the ground is on the work, but no news about this since september/october 2017.

No one should buy it at the moment, just wait for an update with full 4.3 support or a concurrent plugin.

Will rate this plugin 4-5 stars once it's fully functional.

Increases price to $60 to provide better support to fewer people.. Then doesn't provide any support at all. The author is very inactive and support is almost nonexistent besides a few people who actively help. Not to mention they only check in once every few months which is unacceptable for this price.

Glitchy.  I am not using the role sync, ban sync or any of that.  I am using it mainly to AUTH and Post to channels.  Few things that have gone wrong.  One.. Somehow the bot that was added to the server was able to kick a member.  Not sure what caused that. 

Everything seems to work.. But there are a TON of system error logs for Rate Limiting.  It's about every two hours.  I am fairly positive this shouldn't be happening. I reached out to developer about this and got no response.  Seems strange that the price was increased to "cut down" on support requests.  Does that mean, you won't respond to support requests after paying $60?  Just curious. 

Should have listened to the other negative review. Gives errors and just plain doesn't work. No support from dev and as mentioned, others in support section have issues with no help as well.

Errors on install, Errors on configuring the settings, no support, and many users in the support section have the same issues. Would love to use this but it just dose not work after following and re-reading the included instructions.

This app is great! It does what it says. 

As was mentioned by the author, this will NOT embed any kind of chat feature on the forum. It's merely used as a means to have users sign up with their discord accounts and have a type of notification for your topics that will announce on discord.

Awesome app, every time i post news on my forum, Discord members are notified, gets them more engaged.

Amazing App. If your gaming community uses Discord this is a great way to network your website and Discord together. What this App does for your community is keeps your users informed without them actually having to check a website constantly. Essentially, if you wanted, you could turn discord into a one-stop-shop for communication outside of video games. Remember, an informed gaming community is a healthy gaming community.

Also worth mentioning that the support for this App is really good. Was really excited to see Calendar Events as a new feature when I went to update the App today.  

Ahmad does it again! He knows exactly what Gaming Communities need! Teamspeak integration and then Discord? Truly a genius! We in Eterna Gaming recommend this application! 

It's still being worked on, and it's been a pleasure debugging and working on it with Ahmad, but overall it's amazing and recommended for all Gaming Communities, Clans, Guilds out there!
