About This File

Referrals by @Fosters is a simple application which adds a new field on the registration screen for new registrants to input the member who referred them.  This is critical to keep track of who referred whom, and allows you to build a network by word-of-mouth.  If you offer a closed or private community, this plugin is a MUST to ensure new members are qualified and recommended by existing members. Registered members will see the referral URL on their Account setting page, which they can share with their friends so that they'll be automatically set as referral.

Build a network by referrals, word-of-mouth, and affiliate code with Referrals by @Fosters!

Highly recommended, if it's what you are looking for.  @fosters has been very helpful and responsive to requests.  Needed a few adjustments for what I needed and it now works perfectly!

Honest review:

This plugin does exactly as it say's it does, I haven't encountered a single bug or problem in 2 weeks of using it and it is very user-friendly and not over complicated like other apps.

The support is amazing, @fosters always responds and never ignores a customer and on top of that he takes every suggestion seriously and makes constant improvements to the application.

Kind regards,

G

looks and operates good.

Some reason it ignores my global setting of not email validation required...and is requiring validation

The only thing I think I would like to see is the referrer field on the reg page be unchangeable if it is set.
