Enhanced AdBlock Blocker 2.1.10

It does a very good job,

2 remarks :

- An option to have the popup display again after X days/hours or every X pages for people who have dismissed it would be great.
- On my site the "do not track" option in firefox blocks ads and does not trigger the popup, but i guess it is a choice.

Easy to install and configure and it does the job. 

ublock is bypassed. can you check it and update?

Very simple and straightforward. Absolutely necessary for those who monetize their board.

The plugin is at the top, works very well with the latest version 4.6.3, the after sales service and fast and the very nice programmer, I recommend you. 

Easy set up and the customisation message is really useful!

If you are running a different theme other than the default, remember to clear cache on the forum.

Great little useful plugin.

It's great. But only for users using AdBlock/uBlock plugins. Right now in some browsers you've got blocking ads added as a feature. E.g. Brave browser (getting really popular, or even Firefox). It's not working if you use Brave (and it's blocking ad mechanism). Would be great to add it. I know there are sites detecting this also for Brave.

This is now working on IPS 4.3.1 software with no issues that I can find. I've done some test during setup so I was check for ad blockers for only my guest and members. Then set up all the other group to be excluded from the check. It does hold the user's feet to the fire and will not let you past till you whitelist the Ad Blocker for that URL. 

For the moment the plugin is not working properly, but the author is very friendly and is trying to help me  

With 4.1.11 (I stopped updating) it messed up my theme, fortunally uninstalling the plugin restored my previuos theme

This is the error:

[[Template core/global/forms/number is throwing an error. This theme may be out of date. Run the support tool in the AdminCP to restore the default theme.]]

The support help me to fix the problem with my theme. After he fix it, start to show the popup again. If you want to test the app, access my forum.

It is possible to cheat by pressing ESC on the Adblock screen

with Last AdGuard AdBlock this plugin don't work.

Will course theme problems, not working on most popular adblockers eg: Brave. Nice little tool but not really fit for purpose as it blocks only a very SMALL amount of adblockers. Would give more stars but ONLY when author will imporve the plugin.

I installed this today. It seems to work pretty well on desktop computers but it doesn't seem to be operating on my mobile phone at all. I installed an ad blocker on my mobile phone and the ad block blocker has not been triggered at all.
This is a bit concerning because more than 80% of our traffic seems to come from mobile devices.


You can configure it to be dismissable – and not come back again if you don't want it. That's very nice but what might be even more interesting would be to be able to configure it either not to reappear again once dismissed or else to reappear every n days. So instead of nagging people all the time – but instead of simply disappearing out of mind – it will be possible to make sure that it reappears every five days or something.

 

Works like a charm.

It would be nice if it only worked on the single Primary User Group, and not all the Secondary User Groups as well.
